That is the big question. Did no one sneak into practice today? C'mon people...Did he practice today ?
What else are miniaturized nano-drones for? That is the big question. Did no one sneak into practice today? C'mon people...
Did he practice today ?
Cal said he wasn't sure if he was there or not but he would ask Wheeler if he saw him before game time tomorrow
It was unrelated. Just letting off a little steam before the big game.He was reportedly seen on a scooter today. Not sure if it’s related to the neck or not, but interesting nonetheless.
We shouldn't? Vandy is 76 or 79 in the NET and we're only 6 point favorites.Thankfully, we shouldn't need him for Vandy. Rest up for Tennessee.
You can miniaturize nano-drones?!?What else are miniaturized nano-drones for?

If anything, I would be overselling them because of our past performances (and theirs) when we go to Nashville to play them. I’ll never undersell a Vanderbilt team in that gym against UK.Huh, guess I'm underselling them a bit based on their past.
But, still don't think we NEED Wheeler for that game. Ty has shown that he can be just as good of a fill in. I trust that he could at least game manage tonight and get us a win.
Of course if Wheeler is 100%, put him out there, but something tells me he isn't.
If he got a hug from creepy then he won’t ever be 100%Probably still sore from Tom's hug.
I hope he can return 100% soon.
Didn't we eek out a win there (Vandy) when their 90% FT shooter was fouled on a 3 attempt and missed all 3 free throws in the last 15 seconds? I think it was the Monk/Fox/Bam team.
Couple of years ago, Keon’s freshman year, I took my son to campus and we went into Memorial and Coal. We were checking out the trophies and NBA walls and such. We were snooping around and tried to open a door, was locked. A lady was walking by, her name badge said something about ladies bball. She asked what we were doing. I told her I wanted to show my son the practice facility if possible. She opened the door with her badge and told us to walk in, be quiet, and enjoy. We went in, it was an above court, mid court, viewing room. We watched practice for about 30 minutes. Cal was very animated, guys were going hard. My son loved it. Was damn cool to see. About 30 minutes in, an old guy pointed up to where we were sitting, Cal and someone else on the court looked up, then the old guy started walking toward our direction looking up at us. We left quickly. That is the big question. Did no one sneak into practice today? C'mon people...
Losing Fredrick was a massive blow. Would’ve been a great addition for this team, all the way around. That injury really hurts.Memorial has screwed over many a solid or better UK team over the years. That said, since Cal has been here:
2021 82-78 W
2020 78-64 W
2019 87-52 W
2018 74-67 W
2017 87-81 W
2016 62-74 L
2014 71-62 W
2013 60-58 W
2012 69-63 W
2011 77-81 L
2010 58-56 W
So we are 9-2 at Vandy with Cal as HC. Obviously some close wins due to Memorial "magic" but yeah.
And yes, we need Wheeler tonight if necessary. The guys cannot play 40 minutes each (Mintz, Grady and TyTy) at the guard positions. That is why we see the 3 bigs that all of us like to ***** about...we have to do it to give our guards some rest. Yes, I know...we could play that other guy some minutes but that isn't going to happen. You can take that as meaning Sharpe or Allen, however your mind thinks, either/both work.
Hopefully this is sarcasm.Thankfully, we shouldn't need him for Vandy. Rest up for Tennessee.
He wants to play but I think it's going to be he'll play if needed
1. You have no idea if Wheeler wants to play or not.He wants to play but I think it's going to be he'll play if needed
The balloon sets that off perfectly![]()
Looking like game time decision
He will have two walking boots on tonight.Looks like he was in the morning practice picking up bruiser when he hit the half court shot
That’s the walk on guard.Looks like he was in the morning practice picking up bruiser when he hit the half court shot
Thanks Doctor Phil. You mean it's turning into one of the phantom injuries we seem to have every year under Cal? Meaning Cal is holding him out for no apparent reason. Because if he can play and wants to play he should be playing.
What were they worried about? No plays to steal.Couple of years ago, Keon’s freshman year, I took my son to campus and we went into Memorial and Coal. Wheeler will play tonight.Wheeler wanted to play against Georgia but Coach told him to sit and if you look good on Monday you'll play on Tuesday, but it's a game by game decision still. So that's how I do know that he wants to play tonight.
Full body cast. Said he was last seen talking to Jared VanderbiltHe was reportedly seen on a scooter today. Not sure if it’s related to the neck or not, but interesting nonetheless.
Ok sorry, thought it was wheelerThat’s the walk on guard.
Every time, anyone who’s never played in that gym before has problems too, the coach being far away is different and the bench setup. If anything, I would be overselling them because of our past performances (and theirs) when we go to Nashville to play them. I’ll never undersell a Vanderbilt team in that gym against UK.
Drew Maddux always comes to mind. There’s many others that seem to play well and shoot extremely well against us down there. For some reason, he always comes to mind for me.
