It hunts in the fact of it shouldn’t ever happen. And I’m tired of pretending it should be ignored. But, despite the cheating, we’ve had better talent than KU throughout Cal’s tenure. Not sure that dog hunts my man.

Cal has every advantage in college basketball! He’s pissed it all away with his players to the NBA first agenda.
Its all about the draft look what he did for Boston last year.Do you think he can get Collins drafted this year.Facts, as in the fact that Cal relinquished a sizable lead to Kansas in just a few short years?
Those kinds of facts?
But remember, March is all that matters.Kansas will overtake us when we play them January 29th.
I haven't updated this page in a number of years but the below charts give you an idea of where the all-time wins lead stood when Cal took the job for the 2009-10 season (2010 on the chart) and how it's fluctuated since that time.
Remember at the time Cal took the job there was serious concern at the start of the season which team would hit the 2000 win mark first, UK or North Carolina. As it turned out, UNC faltered badly at exactly the wrong time.

Yet, the record vs KU since Cal arrived is what 4-4 (1-4 last 5 meetings). So it seems like logic would say the talent is pretty comparable. But hey its just logicBut, despite the cheating, we’ve had better talent than KU throughout Cal’s tenure. Not sure that dog hunts my man.
No...it's the draft stupid! But remember, March is all that matters.
Joe B...Tubby...Benedict...Rupp. lf Sutton hadn't had his personal problems would've one at least one. What makes them any more likely than us to "suck" if/when we move on from Cal lol?
What a trash heap of a post.It is laughable that people hate Calipari so much. He over took Kansas and UNC in all time wins.
But as hater Son of Saul says the record matters. Too bad Son of Saul doesn't realize that Kentucky basketball has by far the best winning percentage of all time. that is what truly matters.
Kansas has played more than 120 more games than Kentucky, but I guess haters don't want to bring that up.
If anything KU will rack up more wins in a conference where only Baylor fights for the conference title..lets face it their conference is about to get weaker and the NCAA will never ever touch Self. He is off limits he could go out and buy 15 players in front of the NCAA and they will not do anything. So don't expect any vacant wins from them the NCAA will help him and LSU, Auburn and a few other to pour it on Cal until he is gone.
Just another record Cal will lose.Kansas will overtake us when we play them January 29th.
Got new neighbors moving in with Cali tags that begin 666.The record matters. Don't deflect, Ed666.
The answer is "Yes, we had the record"....So I'm not sure what point you think you're making.Don’t start asking the real questions it doesn’t fit their agenda that “Cal lost the record”
Well it will soon beThe answer is "Yes, we had the record"....So I'm not sure what point you think you're making.
The list was:
1) UK
2) UNC
3 KU
Maybe the ncaa does something about some of their wins. And they run a rogue program. There’s always that.
And maybe the girl next door will come over and profess her love and hand me a check for a cool 2 million and I could retire tomorrow.Maybe the ncaa does something about some of their wins.![]()
If Cal stays long enough next thing we’ll be saying is there is no shame in “ Bronze Standard “. It’s ok to have sloppy 3rds instead of eating 1st or sloppy 2nds.No shame in being the “Silver Standard”
I don't know how you get that our wins lead is down to 2. If KY was up by 4 coming into the season. Ky has 11 wins, Kansas has 12. When I went to school that was only a difference of 1. Therefore, Ky would still be 3 wins ahead.Kansas will overtake us when we play them January 29th.
Doesn’t seem to matter that much recently, or at least I don’t get to enjoy it much recently. Hell, after last season I go into most games just excited if we manage to win.But remember, March is all that matters.
The world may end if Kansas takes over the all time win total.Kansas will overtake us when we play them January 29th.
Incorrect, it's the July draft that is most important! We all know this! But remember, March is all that matters.
we, the fans should have seen is poor bench coaching his 1st year when Huggins played a zone with their best player out & UK had no clue what to doThose claiming Kentucky to supposedly be the "Gold Standard" and "eating first" should care. We haven't done much of anything since 2015 so, how much more should we compromise to prop up a overpaid coach who consistently underachieves?
If Bill Self has an opportunity to push Kansas over the top on that day, look out! He will send a message to Cal. That’s the kind of guy Self is. Playing at home, with more talent, this one will be lopsided. If he has a chance to take the all-time wins lead, it may be very lopsided.Kansas will overtake us when we play them January 29th.
Who cares, really. Pretty much sums up where we are doesn’t it.Who cares. It’s on going. At some point Kentucky would probably get it back anyways
Saw Kansas in person last weekend and wasn't that impressed. They gave good guards and wings, but are vulnerable in low post. I could see Tsiebwe having a field day, and assuming Wheeler's back healthy that game, he'll give them fits too.If

July draft is not as important as January draft. The weather is much hotter in July. I prefer a hot air draft over a cold weather draft. You can get plenty of hot air on this board.Incorrect, it's the July draft that is most important! We all know this!
Nothing matters anymore. remember THE LIST? It doesn't matter anymore, either.Who cares. It’s on going. At some point Kentucky would probably get it back anyways
Let’s be real. KY racked up tons of wins in the SEC in many years when nobody cared about basketball, except us. I would like to see us maintain the record, but if not, it is not the end of the world to me. Besides, with TEX and OK coming into the league, it will get tougher for UK and much easier for KS.I pray I'm not reading about people blaming Cal on this. Last season, as sh1tty as it was, was clearly a one off for a multitude of reasons. Excluding that season, the man's averaging 30 wind per year. The reason the gap has been closed is because of dumbass BCG and Tubbys final years. That and the fact Kansas plays in a conference that they win almost ever year.
