I *ALMOST* respect him for trying to keep a straight face while spouting that self-serving horseshit. Almost.Didn't even know he owns a bourbon company.
So he's:
1. Against medical marijuana because it's a "slippery slope" but owns and produces alcohol.
2. Against casinos and sports gambling because of the damage it could do to families but built his entire career in the horse industry and lead the way for "historical horse racing"
The absolute peak of hypocrisy.
I think Kentucky needs to tax both vices and your ****** posts.I think Kentucky residents need more vices at their fingertips. Maybe start fentanyl dispensaries. Think of the tax revenue!
Rest assured that Kentucky is going to heaven and the surrounding states are all going to hell.
The trick is finding those people who want to run for office against an incumbent. Most of the people you’d want to see run are sane enough to have no interest in doing so.I don’t know what the answer is. I do believe however there have to be a ton of modern Republicans and or conservatives like myself out there who are fiscally conservative but socially much more moderate. Maybe one day we’ll have a say.
Not in this state, bub (in terms of one day having a say).I don’t know what the answer is. I do believe however there have to be a ton of modern Republicans and or conservatives like myself out there who are fiscally conservative but socially much more moderate. Maybe one day we’ll have a say.
Utah has no gambling, no weed, and very strict rules on alcohol. They are:
But sure, our state would be aces if we could just get rid of Thayer.
- Top five in most fiscally stable state
- Top 2 for economic growth
- Number 1 in growth of young population

This is an ignorant thing to say. I think you know that but I doubt you will be willing to admit you’re wrong.I think Kentucky residents need more vices at their fingertips. Maybe start fentanyl dispensaries. Think of the tax revenue!
* The worst radio show ever was when Joe B and Denny Crum had that short run together. Two 80 year-olds sitting around talking about fishing and church, or whatever. Just awful.
Former VP of the Breeder's Cup (from Michigan) is just an everyman Kentuckian. Can't tell a bit of difference from him and Earl from Floyd County.* Some of you Kentucky residents need to take a good, hard look around the state and realize that an urban-dwelling, upper middle class, college educated yuppie is very much the minority. Damon Thayer, awful as he is, probably represents the average Kentuckian much better than any of you realize.
If you don't believe me, go sit down at the DMV some time and make mental notes on everyone who walks in the door. Most of them DON'T look like you.
Do you not follow politics at all? We had a dipshit reality TV star and barely intelligible demented old man as our last 2 potus. The more ridiculous the better these days. How does someone so uninspiring, a HOF loser if you will, weasel their way into that much power?
Grant County sucks btw. Golden triangle my ***.
I don't know how some of you rubes find your way home from work every day.He said “just look at Utah!”![]()

Don’t sleep on the possibilities of a “Hole in the Sheet” lifestyle, IMO.You know what else the Mormons did? Hunted down and executed people that tried to leave the tribe. The Air Force, when I was in, was lousy with them. You couldn't swing a dead ex-Mormon w/o hitting one of them. Most of the ones I knew liked LARPing. They dressed up in homemade "armor" and would sword fight around the apartment complex. That, and f***ing through a bedsheet with a hole in it.
