Wife's mother passed yesterday after a long battle with dementia. It's been a 5+ year ordeal for my wife to care for her, and I'm just glad the burden of it all is lifted. I know Llama and others have dealt with similar situations.

Goodwin capping an unreal football class. Can't wait to see it translate to the field.

Going to be a fun 2022. Citrus Bowl and Vegas Super Bowl Week just for starters.

Blackberry Smoke at Louisville Palace in April. Pre-sale started today. Bernie, you down?

Question for the "bourbon balls" in this thread. If you had to pick just 1 of the Down Home bourbon offerings, which would you go with?
Who are you? Where are you located and why are you asking?

I know that sounds crappy, but depending on where you are I can point you in different directions.

Most here should say something you personally don’t had access to, TBH.

Rough afternoon. Found out a plumber I worked with for years over dozens of projects, passed away a few months ago from covid.

Then found out about an aunt/uncle and several cousins that lost their houses in the tornado. They survived, but nobody from the family has been able to get in contact with them to help out.

I mean, UCLA just cancelled their game last night, they're not going to play Saturday. We'll just play UNC again assuming they don't have a case of herpes spreading through the team.

"Well look ya know, its a tough ask for these kids. These are kids, right? We've prepared all week to play one type of team and then all of a sudden we have to ask them to play another type of team. Its crazy- these are kids. Its tough to play games right now- Covid- these are crazy times. Look- wouldve loved to come home with a win against a good Carolina team. Wouldve loved to. But we showed some things I liked. They fought. These are kids- and they couldve folded early on when we got down big- but they kept at it. We'll go home and regroup- and get ready for another big game next week. Look I want to thank the fans that came out here- I want to thank the fans that donated to the tornado relief. You guys are insane."

I'm just a longtime lurker....live in the Louisville area...I've seen it out in stores and wanted to try because of what I've read on here...

-Not sure how I feel about people announcing on social media that they donated to tornado relief or anything. Do they want the attention and pat on the back or are they promoting donating? You should obviously be donating because you care, not because you want likes.

Batch 2 of the 12 year is still on the shelf at Happy Liquor. I’d suggest that.

However that goofball is charging more than he should so I’ll contact him if you want to go there and tell him to make it right.

Other than that if you can find toasted wheat or toasted rye(Cox’s in Middletown will have a barrel pick next week) I’d suggest that myself.

My wife is an RN. Has been for 28 years. One of the most respected in our area. I respect her opinions, her boss’s opinions, and the shoulder specialist they hooked me up with. Nothing against you, “bruh”, but I’m in good hands.
Good luck with your shoulder surgery blue! I’ve had four shoulder surgeries. They used cadaver tissue about 2 years ago on my shoulder and I’m doing great. Just make sure you do the rehab and don’t rush it.

Wow. Why would you say that? I’m one of the nicest posters in the history of this site. Also lived 30 years in WoFo. My favorite place ever. I’m out.
How are you so long-lived and still have such thin skin? People tell you to f off if you're not bringing some sort of conversation. You don't. As a person, I wish your family luck with everything. As a poster, you're boring, and no one gives a **** about when you opened your rivals account.
