I assume Goodwin's NLI (wherever it is faxed) will be as late in the day as possible. If the kid has used all his visits to recruit for UK while going to the Who's Who of college football, he's going to be the front runner for my favorite football Wildcat after Levis leaves. If he goes to Michigan State, at least we won't have to play him.

Goodwin has toed the line between being a diva and being classy as well as any kid in that position possibly could.

UK has five signees listed so far:
Fearby, Durojaiye, Brandon White, Andre Stewart, and Grant Bingham.

Here's to a day of Yahtzees.

The pictures from his NATIONAL SIGNING DAY PRESENTED BY TAKIS are hilarious. Roll out the purple carpet. Sit in this purple throne surrounded by Takis chips.

I don’t blame the kid. He’s got a ton of free money to get from now till the real signing day.

Ha. That is CFB recruiting in a nutshell. One ceremony in the summer to pick the Cats. Another on NSD #1 to announce that you aren't announcing. 😆

Much rather that drama than sweating out a last minute average pick up from some kid that will either never qualify or was at the bottom of the board for another program.

I'm glad the kids are able to make money now, but I doubt I'll be penciling in monthly drops to VIRTUS in the old budget. Good grief.

F market value. I hope and pray 99% of the virtus money goes to football because we will be so far behind the Bamas/Georgias it won’t be funny. We play legit SEC football, but we gotta become a real SEC football program. The part about “supporting all 29 varsity programs” is troubling, and I assume a necessary lie.

Until he got hurt we had a 2* OL from Nicholasville that was a mid season All-American so honestly I wouldn’t be that upset if they told Goodwin to kick rocks after they’ve put 6 years of recruiting in to him and he's stringing them out on signing day.

If he was considering Louisville or another SEC school it would be different but who GAF about Michigan State.

Of course I’m also not a coach so don’t listen to what I think.

Good thing we didn’t take that approach after wandale chose Nebraska. We would have never gotten him as a transfer. It’s a crap process but the high rated kids have all the leverage.
