We already have two losses. We’ll lose to OSU and Kansass and UL is a toss up. Figure we’ll go probably 10-8 in the SEC and a loss in the SECT. We are looking at 12 or 13 losses going into the postseason. I don’t think we get in with that record. If it forces Cal out then I’m good with it but he has to go.

No contract is iron clad and I'm pretty sure Calipari would leave for a hefty sum well below the buyout. He wouldn't legally have to do that but, Barnhart or the university could make it tough on him to stay if he didn't go along with a deal.

Calipari also has a massive ego. He wants to leave behind a legacy. It's taken some serious hits the last 6 years and may only get worse. He might be talked into leaving while he still has some of the fanbase on his side. But, 3-4 more years of this crap and he'll be all alone because his assistants will have bailed, his recruiting will dry up and the fanbase will be all but gone from his side.

I’d say, realistically it is 3 years away from even the thought crossing Mitch’s mind.
