We're not playing terrible.. good on turnovers and fouls.. shots just not falling. Which should be expected with this being out first road game.

Brooks is a real head scratcher. I can’t figure him out. Is he just selfish or just not a smart player. I mean why does he KEEP shooting 3’s. Drives me nuts

Exactly Seth. Notre Dame is controlling the pace. It was supposed to be a different UK offense. Its still plodding like the last couple of years.
Brooks had one basket and one rebound the last 18 minutes of the first half. Looked good the first two minutes though.
Anyone else over Brooks shooting? Long 2s with his foot on the 3 point line with a hand in his face, a long 2 early in the clock before his teammates even get down there and get into position, and then that turd when we could have had the last shot. WTF? He just doesn't play with a good BB IQ, especially for a Junior.

I’m disappointed in Brooks play tonight. I’m higher on him than most here but he’s taken some dumb shots tonight early in the shot clock. I don’t mind him shooting open shots but he’s gotta have better awareness.
We had somewhat of a fast break and he pulled the trigger early. Then that last possession of the half there was just an atrocious decision. Still think he’s important for us as a 5th or 6th man, but he has to be more intelligent with his shots—especially considering a lot of them are long twos.

Happens damn near every game. Cal’s teams never dictate tempo. It’s unreal really.

Wilson basketballs are the official basketball of NCAA March Madness. Wilson is also the basketball Notre Dame uses. Cal should have had the boys practicing with them instead of Nike. The cattle and pig content along with the different synthetic rubber for the ribbing makes a huge difference.

You’re seeing what some folks have being saying about Wheeler. Just too many limitations to lead a top 20 team. With his minutes it’s a problem. No spacing or flow the way that defenses are backing off him.

Wheeler, Mintz, Tyty, Grady, Oscar should be the line up most of the time.

It’s not his fault, his coach is telling them to shoot or they come out. This has to stop.
If we could have hit a few threes we could have had a 7 or 8 point lead. We also took 3 or 4 quick shots after missing several three point shots, if you are not hitting them quit shooting them so early in your possession.

Keep feeding Oscar and force them to double in the post. Have to knock down some open looks in the 2nd half.
Need better shot selection. Hopkins, Wheeler, Brooks and surely others took bad ones this half.
