What pro carries the bag or walks at all? Caddy's get paid for a reason and they have golf carts. It's definitely a sport though
I’m talking about average people playing pro size courses. If you play Valhalla for a example they don’t have carts. Tons of actual golfers walk, not weekend hacks who drink beer.

Sounds terrible. I've only been able to play twice and they were not even close to pro level. I enjoy playing even though I don't watch. Because there's no running or defender against you(human wise) people think it's not athletic but it is.

Okay, I accept the challenge. If you change the no-holds-barred fight to drunken Darts in Never Back Down, it would look very funny, I think.

Imagine playing baseball while drinking and smoking. It would be hilarious and deadly at the same time. Could be the next game in Squid Games.

Sadly I have been known to watch a darts match on occasion. The crowd goes wild when someone hits a 180. They have to be the drunkest bunch I have ever seen at any event, including a Conway Twitty concert. JK I have never been to a Conway Twitty concert, but I bet it was amazing.

I watch darts all the time on Sky Sports. It's rather big over in the UK.

I don't know I guess it all depends on your definition of sport.

To me if it requires a skill set that not many people have or can obtain and you are competing against someone else, it's a sport.

Sidenote: The World Championships of Darts starts December 15th.

The Iceman and The Ferret are the favorites :)
Not a big fan of his but I would say MVG is the favorite going in.

More of a bar game. Things like Darts and Pool certainly take skill and finesse, but they aren't physical (aside from the most basic of arm movements). A sport to me requires at least some part of your body to be in shape.
Throw about 30 to 40 legs of 501 one evening and see if it changes your thoughts.

Back in the day, in eky it was common to be playing ball at a park and be playing against a coal miner just off work, in coal dust and work boots, while smoking a cigarette.

Best believe they were incredible in at least two areas: knocking down a broke looking shot that rarely missed and blocking you out.
