There is truth to this. Can you imagine if K had picked up someone like Grady? Obviously, a cold shooting night could stomp K's dream of #6, but I think the refs bail them out regardless.

You swap out Roach for Wheeler then I’d be real worried about Puke. I honestly think the lack of good PG play will bite Puke in the butt come tourney time.
I hope you're right. The thing that could nix that weakness, and likely will nix it, is the easy path that is imminently waiting for Duke. Remember that path they were gifted in 2015 where 4/5 of the most talented teams were on UK's side of the bracket? I expect something like that this year.
I don't want to hear about Gonzaga possible going undefeated all season. Duke will lose in due time. My main reasoning
How any UK fan can pull for Duke is beyond me?
The one thing I now believe is that Kentucky will be the two seed in Duke's bracket in the east. If Kentucky has a great year. The rematch in Philadelphia.

Nothing more in my sports life would make me more happy than UK sending Rat Face home forever and UK winning the ship.
The only thing that made me happy about Duke winning was that the Gozaga trolls may take a few days off the board.
After what you wrote about Banchero, there isn’t enough delusion left for anybody else. You used it all.
Perimeter shooting is what will hold Duke from a title. If they face the right matchup. Someone smart enough to zone them and slow down the game.

I didnt pull for them. I woke up this morning and read about the game from you guys. College basketball is too boring other than uk. I hate duke. I just got tired if the Gonzaga storyline last season and glad we don't have to hear about it this year. For Gonzaga best thing that could happen to th come March. Less pressure.
Duke just looked a lot better last night & prepared. Felt like Duke was up at least 10+ how they were playing yet it was neck and neck.
YOur choice dude. The frauds winning doesn't help UK at all. This is the big fraud's last season. The more they win, the less likely they will be allowed to lose. Gonzaga is not a threat to the futre of UK.
and yet, both teams wound up playing Wisc....one team, lost, the other team won... expecting a stronger team to take out your hated opponent BEFORE you meet the common foe doesn't carry much weight.... Virtually the same in 2010......WVA beat UK, then got smoked by duke...
The ESPN and NCAA agencies created K. The Manchurian Coach.. That's a fact. K's success was manufactured and it's not coincidental that ESPN and K at duke started roughly at the same time

Wisconsin players had a goal all year of beating Kentucky. The championship game was a letdown. I'm not a psychologist so I can't explain it.
I watched most of the game. Banchero is the real deal, and by tourney time could pull a Danny Manning and just carry Duke to the 'ship. I didn't compare him to AD because AD didn't have to score, Banchero does. If Banchero has an off night, or gets hurt, a great Duke team becomes merely a good Duke team. Gonzaga's goffy assed white bois especially Holmgren were protected all night by the refs.

Those videos of him crouching down in pain are not vertigo as claimed. Either the sun came through a window or someone was wearing a cross in the crowd.
duke was the better team......they'd already beaten wiscy at their own house earlier in the year...
To be fair, Banchero scored 1 point and was “hurt” the 2nd half and Duke still won
Let’s get it! I think we beat them next time. Cal has to make adjustments, though.
Just be glad y’all got a very friendly whistle. If not for that, you get beat against Wisconsin. Also, be glad they put the screws to UK the game prior and our coach took the damn air out of the ball.

Not for me.....folks don't seem to grasp that there is no other threat to UK right now.
Everyone in the country saw that the ball went out of bounds off Winslow. The refs even reviewed the play. Unbelievable the BS duke gets away with. Wisconsin got the whistle against duke that Kentucky got against Wisconsin two nights prior.
