Met Mintz's family at Laguardia on Wednesday...incredibly nice people. Told them how appreciative I was having him back.

Great people, very appreciative of the support. He deserved more mins when Washington played awful. Glad to see him show out. He is as big of an X Factor as anyone on the team.

There are 3 legit shooters on this team. If ever there was a time to adopt a full court, 40 minutes of hell-type press, this is the year.

I can’t stand the mf’er but Pitino could make a very deep run with a squad like this. I think Cal will as well. I Think this is a fun team. Won’t always be the most talented, but they’ll compete and I’m OK with that.

Kentucky's Achilles heel this year looks to be their thin interior. That's it.

There will be nights when Oscar picks up his second foul 4 minutes in on a 6'3 170 pound guard going for a loose ball.

It's coming and the staff better start planning for it.

If Cal can just mitigate those times when his main interior guy has to sit, this team is going to be tough.

I want to be optimistic so I will be.

They got a revolutionary land grant in Stamping Ground, which I found the deed for and it bordered Elijah Craig's property. They sold that though, and bought land in Woodford Co that was near the captain they fought under in the war.

My maternal grandmother's family came here in the mid-1600s to escape persecution during the English Civil War. They were actually nobles and decendants of royalty, which I thought was cool too. Her maiden name is Terrill and there is actually a society that has mapped out that entire family tree going back to something like 600 AD. I'm a direct descendant of William the Conqurer. He was 38th great grandfather. If memory serves correct, there are something like 120 million 38th grrat-grandparents in our family trees so it's nothing special.
That’s awesome. Seriously.
