The program is in dire straits? Please elaborate. I've been a fan since basically the late Sutton era. We've been really good about 15 seasons. 93, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 03, 05, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19. Cal owns 7 of those 15. Could probably toss in '20 as well. We were in dire straits when Cal was hired.
Please help me understand. Last year sucked but I'd bet the house it was an anomaly.
Edit- shouldn't have left out '92...so let's toss in '20 that would be 8/17 belonging to Cal and he has been the coach for 12 of my 32ish years as a fan.

FWw, my observations , Collins is too skinny don’t care what athletic skills he has, teams like Auburn and UT will eat him alive.He needs a year in the weight room and to gain some weight. I like Fredericks stroke , if healthy he will play ALOT, Wheeler is really quick. Washington very enthusiastic kid, saw him high fiving almost everyone, seems very confident, good sign. Brooks looks like a grown man this year seems to have added some muscle. Finally is there ANY way to get the women out of this thing, if HONEST hardly anybody cares and they just suck the excitement right out of the building.

Not much to see after watching that replay. Allen still has the best looking shooting stoke on the team. At least looks like we have some more shooters on this team. OT is going to be a load in the middle.
CJ's shot is so smooth. The ball kinda just glides to the rim. Even when he misses it looks like its going in. Priority #1 with him is keeping him healthy. Next up, Georgia on the gridiron. BEAT UGA!!! GBB!!!!

seeing guys from the 90's like Turner always brings back such awesome memories. those guys would run through walls for Kentucky basketball.. damn proud of them.

I actually just watched it this morning, Cal did a great job with that tribute and Terrence's family seemed very appreciative. Loved the shoes too.
So we we just named best Basketball program of the last decade under Calipari and you say he didn't win lol? He also had nore tournament wins with more trip to the S16, E8 anf Final 4's than any coach on Basketball during this last 10 years. Anyone that would say Cal hasn't won and won alot is a special kind of Stupid.
Exactly what I thought , He is a pure shooter . Can Move to . Not just a spot up guy .. question is .. will Cal turn him loose or give him the D Allen treatment. " he cant guard". " he cant dribble" blah blah blah .
And yet it keeps on getting repeated. Cal isn’t perfect; and he’s cost us a game or two with his stubbornness.
But he wins. And wins a great deal. His record shows that. Which I thought was the be all end all of any debate about winning. Guess not.
