The coal whistle is the one forced tradition that has worked and stuck around.

Remember this one?

Even as a youngster I knew that cotton eyed joe was a TERRIBLE song in general and even worse when you’re trying to get elite black(hell any color) athletes to come play here.

Also, really enjoyed the SAE podcasts I was able to listen to but that Podbean app pisses me off so I give up. Every time I try to click on a new week it just switches back to week 1 or 2. Been walking the dog for 30 minutes trying to listen to it. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong or if that app just sucks. Probably me. Anyway, back to crime junkie.

At what age does fingerbanging stop becoming even noteworthy? 25? If any one of my friends called and told me that he fingerbanged a girl (assuming the friend was single), my immediate reaction would be "So?"

*I have arrived for another fun filled weekend in Lexington. Trying to repeat last weekend because, you know, it helps UK win.

*21c. Larger room than I was expecting. Maybe because it's a corner room.

*About to get cleaned up and walk around a bit. Miller time and those types of things.

*Good question on fingerbanging. May need to know what I can and can't brag about one year.

I would say it’s not noteworthy after high school, I mean, Christ who cares after that and who does just that in college? Did they go to Asbury or BYU?

Really? Just a “so”?

Pretty sure my immediate reaction would be “and then what happened”?

Listen, with a 2 year old and a 2 mo old, I’m all for fingerbanging stories so please share!
Not a specific story - but I always got a kick out of my dad telling me (as I was older and out of the house) that when he and his brothers got home late from a night out (late 60s/70s), his dad would be in a chair - white t and underwear and ask the fellas “did you boys get any stink finger tonight?” No idea if he was serious or just putting them on the spot and get them uncomfortable…

Absurd and ornery as it sounds now, just cracks me up imagining it. Old school + old Okolona just built different.

Bourbon flowing - stink finger spin-off:

High school spring break with the baseball team in Panama City…in the hot tub, couple hot chicks from oldham co arrive…easy connection being both from Ky. Names were Hope and Faith or something similar, as one would expect.

Hit it off in the tub via conversation and start talking about plans for the following days…not much we could do being on school trip, but I mention putt-putt (walking distance, cheap and easy)…the beautifully chested friend of the two says “what kind of putt putt would you like to do?”…

as smooth as you’d expect a Hs jr to be, I ramble on about windmills, clowns and 18 holes - only to relive and rethink the answer for years to come. Fingers clean as could be.

😂 - Reminds me of this scene from Sideways.

Exactly.

To make matters worse, half our team ended up suspended for bringing booze…those dudes were then released from the school sanctioned part of the trip, had free time and slid in on those chicks faster than I could ever imagine.

Ole GG24 looking out the hotel window during curfew while those dbag teammates (who Id go to war with) were now in the hot tub with the ladies I laid the groundwork with had me streaming.

- ABC has Oklahoma/Texas, but puts it at noon and puts Michigan/Nebraska in primetime. That makes sense.
I don't think that game has ever been played at night, and for as long as I can remember its always around a noon kickoff. I don't know if that's tradition or is scheduled that way because of the State Fair.

OK, Wynn. It’s Friday night, big guy. Your time to shine and you have been set up perfectly.

- As luck would have it, I’ve been sitting in a hot tub on the edge of the marsh on Amelia Island watching the sun set for the past couple hours.

- A fingerbang was as far as I got before I got “the look,” so there you go. In-laws had the kids out on a golf cart ride, so I don’t necessarily see what the problem was. Guess it just wasn’t my time. But it really didn’t detract from the moment. I just kicked back with a glass of brown and watched the herons and other assorted avian friends do their dusk routine.

- (Ir)regardless, I don’t really feel like talking to people anymore anyhow. About anything.

- Trying to decide between a Stihl 85C handheld blower versus a backpack setup. The former will be far and away adequate to get the job done. But any reason to get the backpack rig? Other than general Gyero-man status? I have an acre with lots of mature, stately trees, so I could probably justify it. But I’m coming from having a 55R which *generally* got the job done, other than during the throes of autumn, when it was inadequate. Don’t want to look like a chud out there with a ridiculous and unnecessary setup with the backpack.

- Speaking of golf carts, my father in law decided his old one was washed up, so he went the Joey CPO route and bought a three year old one from the local shop that sells to all the ******** in the Plantation. Only interesting thing is that it is candy apple red and has a lift kit and these ridiculous chrome rims. I don’t think he realizes that it is most definitely a (B)lack man’s golfcart. Probably the old rig of a Jaguars player or something. In any event, we looked out of place on it.

- I still drank all day and drove it around. Did not golf, however.

- Feeling pretty nervous about tomorrow. Bad 2007 and 2018 vibe. Too much Wildcat football in me to feel otherwise. Last week, conversely, I felt great leading up to the game. We were playing with house money. Certainly didn’t think we would win. Now, the pressure is on. This spot has not been good to us historically. Don’t get me wrong, we’re absolutely the better team. But, UK Football. My demons haven’t been exorcised quite yet. But we are getting close. God bless, Mark.

- I think I was actually on the outskirts of your all’s tailgate last weekend, but I had enough brown-out sense about me to keep my blinders on and just keep moving forward to my destination. It would not have been a good introduction. I would have probably “met” Anth by him kicking me in the ribs to wake me up on Sunday morning in his front lawn.

- Eat ****, you common laborers. I’ll be beaching it for a while. Love you all.

South Carolina is for simpletons. No surprise, though, coming from your follow-the-leader perspective.

Has to be related to alcohol and fights and/of the Texas State Fair setting. No way they’d turn down the $$$ otherwise.

Man, what’s up with all the SC hate? Everyone knows that all of it is pretty dope except Myrtle.

New Remus V Bourbon might be the best 100-proofer out there. Good job, Indiana.

A drunk, wounded Wynn is the best Wynn. Have a great time down there, buddy.

New John Prine cover album just dropped.

That's no reason to skip the tailgate. I do that after every tailgate anyway. Marcus.
