No it won't. That's totally ridiculous. We still have a much better class than we've had in a while and can still add Wallace and who knows what other name could come up down the road in the portal. Disappointing from where it could be, but definitely not down the dumpster.
Yeah, but there will be a lot of movers and shakers as there was in 2022. Lively and Sharpe weren't even top 50 a few months ago I believe. Omaha Biliew seems to be a target they are focusing heavy on. Plus, we will own the transfer market as well.

If that's true, and I imagine its a real possibility.. then we really need take the 20th recruit, who wants to be here, instead of going in on a top5 guy, that was Duke's to lose. Lively might be better than Bona.. but Bona is far better than nothing.
Thought I would drop this here. Jerry Meyer, who is a top scout for 247 scouted Bona as a top ten draft prospect LAST YEAR. IMO, this is the second best center in the class and a must get for Cal.
If we miss on Bona, let’s hope Collins comes back. He definitely looks like a player that could use an extra year. He needs to add some bulk for sure. He could be the perfect 5 man for us next season with an additional 15-20 lbs. of muscle.

I love the two guys we got. I am talking about centers only. Offer both and take the first verbal. If they both come we are better off. Duke got Lively and Filipowski or whatever his name is so it can be done. Cal is too damn stubborn.

Feeling queasy about Bona. Just reading what’s out there, looking at Twitter, etc - seems AB may be little peeved that JC didn’t return the love from the get. I think this is a very talented senior class. More so when it had Duren and Bates. In regards to big men, it seems that when you get past Duren and Lively, the drop in talent is noticeable. Even if Boner picks us, I still think he may be a project. For the one year he'd be here, you can get a better player from the portal.

If they miss Bona and Lively.....not good. UK imo should have been on AB because Lively not as sure a thing. Get Bona and then hope for Lively. Seems instead, they put Lively ahead and now may lose both. Bad plan if that is what happened.
