We get a top 15 kid as a consolation prize if things go South on Monday. Center is the least important position in the college game right now anyway. Just get a kid who can rebound and defend, and that's what Bona is.
I do agree with this for sure, at least we won’t be high and dry. I think we get one at least.

You go with Branham everyday and twice on Sunday. The Rivals guy is some newbie i've never even heard of. If Branham or Slater put a pick in, you can pretty much take it to the bank. This one's over.
Read his article. He has no idea. Just a hunch.

How does Filipowski and Lively fit together? Just curious.
Not in whatever way Lively has been lied to about the fit. I see Filipowksi getting to do all the fun in and out stuff with Lively thoroughly anchored in the paint, if he thinks he’s playing point center at Duke he’s been sold a false bill of goods.

He wouldn’t be a point center here either, honestly if he wants to play a role that runs contrary to where he should be he should go to a place like Memphis where he can just do whatever he wants.

Not so fast. Folks need to realize we had more access to Lively. Not only did we recruit him but we also recruited him while checking on Duren. Duke didn't have that advantage. Food for thought.

Just a couple days ago, he was on a local show and was talking about Lively and Bona. He said then that he thought UK would get one of them, but that he was pretty sure Bona was going to pick first. Didn't say then how he thought it would go, but the context suggested Bona to UK and Lively to Duke.

Here's the thing for me....the big fraud is gone next year so how does a first year coach get to be in the hunt for a player like this? We all know how. Massive behind the scenes stuff happening.

Must be nice to be able to do whatever you want in recruiting without fear of ever being investigated.

Amazing that a 1st year coach is able to be in this recruitment going against a HOF coach at UK. Sure seems fishy to me.

A coach that has no resume to use to show to recruits. Some big time shady goins on imo.
I don’t think many of these kids nowdays care as much about who their coach is as compared to other behind the scenes forces and what they can do for them . Including the ones coming to Kentucky.

Not a post stating I don’t want Lively, I’d happily take him. Not going to get upset at all if we end up with Bona though. It’s far from a guarantee Lively will be a better college player. Bona is a beast in his own right.

I honestly felt a bit torn when it came out Lively was announcing and everyone thought it was UK. While happy, I think there is at least a chance we were taking the wrong player between the 2.

I hesitate to even speak this into existence but is there a chance Coach K goes back on his word and is planning to Coach longer and has been telling recruits for this boom lately?

Looks like media is following the recent precedent of Duke owning UK in recruiting and, all things being equal in the Lively conjectures, are going with Duke due to that recent history.

At least we won’t have to wait long to find out what school he is going to commit too. Then we can move on to Bona.

Well this was fun while it lasted..Duke will have 2 legit 7 footers..wow..
Yep he’s Duke’s. But if Kentucky gets Wallace, we’ll have the most talented backcourt. They’ll have the most talented front court. I’d rather have the best backcourt honestly

I ain’t gonna lie if Schyer out recruits Cal on lively this board is gonna flip.
Umm ok, would be a weird thing to do considering we just got the consensus #1 recruit and have what will likely end as the #1 class. This thing I see by some posters on this board where they care more about a recruit if they think they are choosing UK over Duke. As if Duke never recruited or contacted the other top guys we have.

If they can make shots, sure. Because head to head you're not getting any points in the paint against those twin towers

Jeez guys this is so simple. Everyone knows it’s KY. Unless it it Duke, then it might be KY but is probably Duke. Then it might be Duke but there is a chance it might another team. But it’s probably KY unless it’s not.

Cruitin made simple.
