Obviously Malik is the big fish but I'm also interested in who else Ben and his TBD assistants can bring in the boat?

What happens to Weatherspoon, Strugg, and Tookie? From either them being released or them seeking elsewhere.

I know Ben has baggage but not many coaches can reference coaching Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love, Jrue Holliday, Shabazz ...

It'll be fun to watch shake out. We need a physical PG and someone to accompany Ware in the post.

The guys I can think of off the top of my head who Howland had roaming the backcourt were pretty big guys in build (Westbrook & Holiday). IJ and Tookie aren't necessarily of that mold. I wonder if he takes the Dan Mullen-Tyler Russell approach or starts fresh.

The mere mention of coaching Westbrook with the way he's been playing should get him a return call from just about any PG. I still like Tookie though

I look for Simonds to get back in the boat as well... JMO... also on the McCray connection...

I think Westbrook was primarily a 2 guard in college, not that it should matter to 17 year old kids who see him on TV as a PG. But I read somewhere that he ended up in OKC because of their use of analytics and them determining in their evaluation he'd transition well into PG.

So I guess what I'm saying is... MALIK! Come run our show!

Sorry but we need someone to replace Ware, nice kid has worked hard but not a quality big man, second string at best IMO

Struggs should just be let go?
He is a big man who is apparently athletic and can play aboce the rim, from what I've read.
Yeah...we don't have many of those, keeper.

Does McCray have a connection with Simonds?

Also I certainly hope that the new staff will get in the transfer game unlike Ray

It almost seems a little crazy to say that in reference of a team that won 13 games, but when you look at our schedule from this past year, there is a minimum of 7 games that I'd say we would have won with that lineup, and the true number may be closer to 10.

In other words, I agree

Ware would be a very good PF. He has moves and added the mid range jumper this year.

Unfortunately, we have had to play him at center his whole career. Kind of like Roberts, Mario Austin and Charles Rhodes- they're just not big enough to play center on the defensive end. But they're still quality big men.

Not sure he can guard a 4. Ware doesn't seem athletic enough. Ware is a tweener to me
