Memphis will beat up on the crap teams on their schedule, lose to the quality teams, make the tournament as 5 seed and get upset by a 12 in the first round. Memphis fans will say they’re back, Penny will say they’re just getting started, Bates and Duren go pro, several guys transfer, they will be worse the following year.
Many of them hoped for this so they could come in here and cry about it. Sick
I get the early appeal of Penny.. but how has it not waned? He's underdelivered in team success and I've yet to see him do anything special to get these kids to the next level.
But,I bet you Cal says he likes his team at least 10 times this year.
I'd bet the same about Kentucky.If NCAA doesn't step in,Memphis will go farther than Kentucky.After only winning 9 games,Cal has to have a good season.

Hope the grievance pushers are happy. UK will be passed because other schools have big donors willing to blow $$$ on recruits, we have t-shirts and practice events for our players. At least Dontaie Allen can do a ‘mercial.

You mean KY fans get the scraps. We are the ones that didn’t bid enough. Cal and the school can’t pay.
I’d still rather have Cal’s roster this season than Penny’s.
