Still -- why do you care what mouthbreathing retards do or not do?

You say you don't care and then type 500ish words showing that you actually do care about their idiotic decision making. I would ask Chad this question but I have done so repeatedly and he never answers (presumably because he has no actual answer beyond what his liberal overlords told him how to think.)
Because it puts others at risk that it could kill. It’s not just about you. If the vaccine was 100% effective it would be a different conversation in my opinion.

The mouthbreathers are also overwhelming the healthcare system near the point of collapse in some parts of the country. It's not sustainable to have these massive outbreaks and expect our hospitals, healthcare workers, et al. to simply pick up the slack and accommodate these F'n morons while they die miserable, lonesome deaths, deserved though they may F'n be.

Drinking and driving kills 40K people per year. Many of them completely innocent. Will this disease kill 20K vaccinated people in the US?

Nothing is on the verge of collapse but your other points are correct.

Yes it does. I was around thousands and thousands of people in Chicago at a convention. I had five people in my group. The two unvaccinated got it. Another friend had 15 in his group. The 7 unvaccinated got it. They had one break through case of the 8 that did have a vaccine.

Don’t give a **** anymore what folks do but I really do think you’re a f’n moron not to get a vaccine at this point. Unless your immune compromised. It isn’t illegal to be stupid but it can kill ya.
I personally know five people in the hospital. All five double dosed with moderna. Your one encounter doesn’t negate every other person who is vaccinated and still tested positive for covid this time around.

you can argue that it weakens it but it absolutely will not keep you from catching it. If you are scared of catching it don’t treat the vaccine like a shield.

Astronomical odds.

Got a popup ad on social media that the local hospital conglomerate was immediately hiring respiratory therapists at $70/hour. That’s a 2 year degree.

Good gig if you can get it.

If vax “worked” Chase wouldn’t be so darn angry. Sheesh.

Some people just want freedom. Freedom to make choices regarding their health and their body. Freedom to run their business

Using the excuse of “Do it or else the govt will shut us down!!” is very telling. Those people need to think about what it is they’re saying exactly.

Oh thanks anth shew that would have been terrible.
No problem. Just pointing out when people throw around ridiculous untrue hyperbole. Does nothing to help the situation. In fact all this sensationalism is most of the issue.

It's unfair to the Healthcare workers, true.

Healthcare system on the verge of collapse, like the previous 3 US waves and several other 1st world waves, is absolute horse ****.

if vax work then stop telling us to get one. You’re protected right? Let us idiots die. Also, it doesn’t do **** for the delta variant so have fun with that.

-Cigars are what tool bags use to declare they’re tool bags. “Hey let’s smoke cigars that aren’t from Cuba in KW while we’re in KW! We’ll be so cool.” Drowned yourself please.
Nothing wrong at all with a nice non-Cuban cigar.

Unless we’re talking White Owls or something.

I said in some parts of the country. Think hospitals in rural Louisiana (as an example) and the respective healthcare workers are just settling in for another round of this ****? You think they have the physical resources for all this again? What about all of the other people whose healthcare is left by the wayside while it's all hands on deck to protect some dumb *******'s "freedom?"

If you prefer "unsustainable," then fine, but it's semantics IMO.

Fair enough. The health care systems will be fine. Just sad to watch when it's mostly preventable but we've butchered the message to so many people.

Are people still arguing that the vaccine prevents you from catching the delta variant?

it does not. Not even a little bit. The only argument is if the vaccine weakens the symptoms.

stop saying and thinking that.

The percentages of hospitalized and dead in the last few months is like 98% unvaccinated to less than 2% vaccinated.
I support your right to be unvaccinated, but the stats are overwhelming. Stop being a retard.

Long time lurker and a respiratory therapist. Great gig if you can deal with being the guy that terminally extubates (pulls the plug). Our hospital’s incentive pay is currently double my hourly rate which is nice but it’s starting to not be worth it.

Also, Rogue is an idiot.

Don’t post too much about this but my brother is an ICU doc and just got done with his rounds in Knoxville first day back in a week and said it’s a madhouse. 60 patients currently from a high of 4 in July. 95% unvaccinated. Unfortunately 2 of the vaccinated people (moderna) are ICU physicians in his group. One is 52 and one is 55 - both with moderna and in ****** shape. Got it from treating unvaccinated patients as they let their guard down. To be honest never really thought of that aspect. You can imagine his feelings towards the unvaccinated but I’m pretty sure he’d be pro water-boarding unvaccinated after finishing my conversation with him tonight.

Yes, vaccines work exactly like they’re supposed to just like a flu or tetanus shot. They help to keep you from dying not getting it.
I’m immune compromised just like 9 million other people in this country. We’re vaccinated but our treatments and medicine continually takes away from our protection so we’re patiently having to wait for a 3rd shot. Probably have to do this every 6 months until everyone is vaccinated. I’m also forced to wear a mask and keep away from people, again. Not gonna apologize for being pissed off that I can’t just go get a 3rd shot and let the unvaccinated deal with their own decisions. I get the equivalent of Covid every damn Monday night except having to be on a ventilator so if I get a breakthrough after my 3rd, 4th or 5th shot I know what I’m in for. Pretty sure the only people that wanna trade places with me are about to be put on a ventilator. So to everyone not vaccinated, GGP.

The amount of people that think he responded appropriately is a microcosm of the world today.

A sampling of those people for Mags’ mentions.

The Catholics of Louisville have done an absolute disservice to this city by giving absolutely no f’s about public schools and staying disinterested in the school board. I’d even argue some of them actively try to harm JCPS to drive demands towards the Catholic Schools. Change my mind.

Once more you really don't know dick about the city of Louisville. But just to nip this silly exercise in the bud, consider how JCPS would feel about having another 12,800 students to bus, educate, feed, etc.

JCPS' problem is bussing, not catholic schools.

Stick to South Oldham and whatever the F happens out there, bub.
