Seeing the g-league has me a little uneasy.
The penciling me in quote ? Yeah just saw that . They all usually say that but I agree with yaI do NOT like his quote about Kentucky

I don't follow recruiting, are we looking at a kid that is a sure thing, then isn't a sure thing, then ultimately commits elsewhere?
Nah, I'm not starting anything, but you have to admit, it is very frustrating.lol here it comes. Y'all have a good Sunday.
Maybe Cal should beat em to it.Oklahoma State about to offer the director of Uplay Canada, Dwayne Washington a job
I’m afraid there will never be any done deals again when there are professional opportunities.Doesn’t sound good about Sharpe. I’ve heard people say it’s a done deal, but it’s far from a done deal. I’m gonna guess he goes G-League route!
Well the one positive is the last few recruits that listed the gleague as an option ended up choosing a college. Dior Johnson , Dariq Whitehead and Jalen Duren. I might be missing someone .Doesn’t sound good about Sharpe. I’ve heard people say it’s a done deal, but it’s far from a done deal. I’m gonna guess he goes G-League route!
I think the thought is that Cal wants Sharpe over all else. I kinda get the “first to commit” vibe more so from Smith/Wallace. Wallace could coexist with either. I think Wallace is like 6’5” so he could easily play the 3 with his athleticism.Maybe Nick Smith and Sharpe are being recruited as a who ever commits first deal. They both are close to the same size and same skill set so maybe Cal knows G League is an option so just casting a wider net.
I agree fully. And Wallace is far more suited as a combo (who does everything else well too) than Smith. Smith wants to hunt his shot too often.I think the thought is that Cal wants Sharpe over all else. I kinda get the “first to commit” vibe more so from Smith/Wallace. This is what gets fans worked up when insiders put out there that a player is a lock and unless a player says this himself then how would anyone know. One insider says it then everyone piggy backs off that because Cal and I hope the staff are not leaking info.I think the thought is that Cal wants Sharpe over all else. All 3 could easily be at UK--Wallace would play the PG spot and other 2 on wings. Will it happen? Not with how things stand now. But if they only get 1 of the 3--something awful happened. This is what gets fans worked up when insiders put out there that a player is a lock and unless a player says this himself then how would anyone know. So how would anyone know who Calipari prefers. All three have similar skill set from what I’ve read and I can’t see him taking all three
Which do you think is more likely? That we get all three or get ONLY one?All 3 could easily be at UK--Wallace would play the PG spot and other 2 on wings. Will it happen? Not with how things stand now. But if they only get 1 of the 3--something awful happened.
If they only get one then the coaching staff swap was all for not but we shall seeWhich do you think is more likely? That we get all three or get ONLY one?
Depends on what happens with the lone commit. He gets dropped, all 3. He stays, 1 more likely then 3 but need to get 2.Which do you think is more likely? That we get all three or get ONLY one?
I'd agree. But if they only get 1 of the 3--something awful happened.
Slater’s tweet from today regarding Sharpe, FYI…
This. I think Sharpe is priority number 1, and rightfully so. Him and Wallace seem to be the best two of those three. Don’t get me wrong, I would like to have Smith as well. Just not sure there will be enough room for all three.I think the thought is that Cal wants Sharpe over all else. I kinda get the “first to commit” vibe more so from Smith/Wallace. Doesn’t sound good, why?Doesn’t sound good about Sharpe. I’ve heard people say it’s a done deal, but it’s far from a done deal. I’m gonna guess he goes G-League route!
Well stated and completely agree. Only thing is Duren was a guy they led for so long.....it's just awful to lose him to another CBB program. If they lost him to the G-League, it's understandable, but to Memphis is a tough pill to swallow for Cal. He can "love his team" all he wants but he got beat on a guy who was seen as a UK lean for 2 1/2 yrs.All the talk about a new staff and such. This is when they need to prove they are worth the enormous paychecks.
Duren was a long shot in my eyes. The roster was already set and adding him this late, I just didn’t see it happening.
I give them a pass on that one.
But they have been here all summer and have had time to work their magic.
Time to reel in the big fish.
Sharpe needs to be locked up soon.
