Yeah, lost it about 5 years ago....disgraceful performance for $10 million per year.About the state of UK basketball. A disgraceful 9 win season. The talent wasn’t there. Maybe the new transfer rule will be the answer. Cal and UK have lost their mojo with elite talent. I expect more for 10 million a year.
What are you smoking????Man you're one of the guys I totally listen to when they talk on this site. You know your stuff!
He’s done a LOT, including some things people didn’t think he’d do. He revamped the coaching staff, used almost all of the scholarships, and landed transfers like Fredrick & Grady who have more college skill than pro potential. How the offense runs this year remains to be seen but if the off-season is any indication, there will be some changes.i think that he has done his best to turnaround from a awful season.
I wonder how many of us really do enough to earn our pay?Need some cheese?
A good portion of the fanbase is in a 'wait & see' mode. Calipari has made positive changes to his staff, a sharper focus on shooting and hopefully on-court IQ. But, his system remains a question mark and only a new season will reveal how effective his changes truly are. Simply hiring new assistants, while very welcome, won't correct all that has been wrong with UK basketball the last 5-6 years.
Exactly, it's how you end up with "congrats to Brandon Boston, the 51st pick in the NBA Draft ..."I really hope that’s not true. that can’t keep happening. I don’t want anymore kids in here that decide before they ever step foot on campus they’re leaving no matter what kind of season they have.
Valid points and it remains a concern. Massive amounts of turnover just can't be sustained. Hopefully, this season will be more of a transitional one with future rosters becoming a bit more stable.I’m really looking forward to having a veteran roster for the first time in forever. My fear is that it’s a one time thing. there’s buzz that basically half of the roster already have their minds made up on what they’re going to do after the season.

I don’t give a damn what you expect, and I’m sure Cal doesn’t either. If you don’t think because of Covid, where the team couldn’t practice over the summer, and Brooks injuries costing us being without him for almost half the season, weren’t a major reason for our season, you’re a total idiot.About the state of UK basketball. I’m mildly excited about the changes he’s made in the off-season. But for me to credit him with having it together I’ll need to see close to 30 wins this season.A good portion of the fanbase is in a 'wait & see' mode. How dense are you?? If you can't see this is happening at every major program in the country then I don't know what to tell you. It's the new landscape of college hoops, it's not Cals fault. It's just the way things are now, everywhere, not inclusive to UKValid points and it remains a concern. Massive amounts of turnover just can't be sustained. So your trying to tell me that @ralphdaltonfan doesn't know his ****? What are you smoking? What are you smoking????
The NBA draft is all Cal has cared about since arriving in Lexington.
So every program now has to start the season with 8-10 new players every year? Better not tell that to Gonzaga, Baylor, Wisconsin, Michigan or any host of other programs that don't take the same approach. The revolving door at UK most certainly IS Calipari's fault. Hell, we are already hearing that many of the guys new to the program this year have plans to be gone in 2022. This is before the first game of the '21 season has ever been played. Tell me that kids don't come to UK with the expectation that they'll only be in college for a year. How dense are you?? Some of y'all are just stuck in the past. Sorry we aren't getting Kentucky kids for four years like the olden days. Perhaps you should open your eyes and accept this is modern college basketball. I don't love it either, it's just what the game has evolved into with all the new rules.
Absolutely no evidence to support this. Just a bunch of loud mouth conspiracy blabbers that lack the intelligence to comprehend coach speak and marketing. It’s really rather pitiful. The NBA draft is all Cal has cared about since arriving in Lexington.
Runnyrichy could read a story about nose picking and conclude Cal is out to screw Kentucky. Just laugh at him.Could you show me that please? Naaa I didn’t think so. Been watching CNN again haven’t you?
and that isn't true. It has been said a million times. When Cal says that it is a recruiting tool. TBF, he probably doesn't mind when a kid who lived in a car part of his high school career signs a multi million dollar contractThe NBA draft is all Cal has cared about since arriving in Lexington.
Snowflake, that's all I need to hear. You are definetly a snowflakeYou need to go back and read 20 years of posting. Before you make yourself look ridiculous. I tell it like it is. I am not a snowflake -Cal-Aid - disrespect our flag person. The only trophy given is for champions not participation.
