So I guess he untransferred. 
Our roster was set by the time Cockburn and Duren became available for the upcoming season, why is this so hard for people to understand?

I think it's easy for people to connect the dots between Cal supposedly not contacting Kofi and UK ramping up recruiting with Duren, but I am not optimistic about Duren coming here. I'd love to be wrong, but that's just how I see it.
If that's true and Cal misses on Jalen it's fair to question Cal's decision making.

I hate to admit that I agree. Just doesn’t make sense at this moment to pass on a proven All American unless he knows Duren is a CAT. Idk. Time will tell.

There may be some exposure value in these players using UK like a disposable diaper. But in the long run the roller coaster ride it puts the fans on, in the end, may outweigh the benefits.

After playing Askew 35 minutes a game last year and then waiting until the end of the year to put Mintz at PG when several of us were calling for it throughout the season. The Cal nut swingers called us idiots and trolls. Well guess what? The team looked much better with Mintz at PG. So yes, I do question Cal’s judgment.
i would say if we don’t land duren the committee will match us with a second or third rd meeting with Illinois and they will put us out. Again cal cares more about 1 or two players and their feelings instead of the entire program and winning.

He left the draft, and rather than announcing he's back--he went into the transfer portal. You don't enter the transfer portal to "stay home." The whole "I'm back" announcement after leaving the combine probably brings you tons of love and excitement. Why cause the fanbase angst by entering the transfer portal and waiting a few weeks to come back?
Maybe he just wanted attention. But again, there's a lot of attention and excitement . Maybe he wanted more attention from the entire country. But then any popularity he built up with UK fans is killed when you pretend you're considering us but you're not. Moreso, he goes on to do this troll post where he's in blue and says "gotcha."
That's extremely immature. You don't gain anything or benefit in anyway from that. Why throw that in? Why even enter the transfer portal?

If Michigan State hasn’t won a title in 20+ years they sure the hell won’t. The Entire B1G can’t win a NC.
UK still leads 2-1 in recruiting battles this summer after stealing Antigua and Coleman. Those two are worth more in the long run than Cockburn.

I pay no attention to recruiting. None.
I get a few things from guys I’ve conversed with for decades from a few different sites and programs. Some things come from some AAU guys I know, and from time to time they know a few family members of recruits.
People need to stop looking at players instagrams and Twitter accounts. Let it go, quit giving them attention, and focus on the team and that’s it.
Recruiting is nothing but immature nonsense these days. There was a time when players were serious about it but that’s long gone. Most of These modern families and players are not worth the time or energy spent following them around and I don’t know why anyone would do it (unless you’re like G**zo and really really get self worth out of sucking up to guys who wouldn’t drain your bathtub while you’re drowning
