Reaching out and offering are 2 different things, at least we aren’t putting all eggs in one basket. I like options, but Cal is going to tell kids to hold off commuting until his Top Recruits decide, seems like we miss out a lot of players because of that crap.

Yup. Almost every head coach “reached out” to a ton of prospects on the first day of communication with the 2023 class. Very different from actually offering all these guys on the first day

Of the four schools he mentions in this article, Brandon Gardner seems he likes Auburn. He mentions the other schools as “They want me” while mentioning Auburn as “I love them”

Seems complimentary about each school mentioned. For instance he also loves NCSU:
NC State: “They love me. Coach [Kevin] Keatts wants to build around me and have another run. He was talking with my grandma for a little bit. He’s a good person, coach Keatts. I love them.”

it's funny how many on here are excited UK is reaching out to so many juniors but many of those same people just a month ago were bashing Calipari and staff saying they were in panic mode for reaching out to a bunch of transfers... reaching out isn't an offer by the way
no, what is funny is how much exposure UK is now getting with a "real" group of assistant coaches. Ones that actually no talent and the game. This change was long overdue. Now the hope is that it translates to recruiting wins & wins on the court

I’m not worried about that. Cal knows how to win.

No offers yet but Duke and UNC involved.

Any kid that believes the recruiting pitch, “we are still Duke/UNC even without our HOF coach and with guys who have never been head coaches before in their lives” is not very bright to begin with, IMHO.

We may still lose some kids to Duke/UNC for a couple of years, but sooner or later the kids will wise up and begin to understand the difference between Scheyer/Davis and Calipari.
