Reading some of these comments cracks me up.

The franchise has 8 winning seasons since KG (1995) walked through the door and that includes teams with Cassell, Marberry, Sprewell, Billups and other key veteran players.

I don't even have to look at their roster to tell you the franchise is a joke.

Very few players can change a franchise by themselves and I would argue it is even harder for a non ball dominate player to do it.

KAT just needs to get the hell out of dodge and sign up to play in Milwaukee, New York, Phoenix, LA, Boston or somewhere he can get aligned with some good talent.

Teams don't win in the NBA with 1 or 2 good players anymore.

I might be remembering incorrectly, I know of his drama in Minnesota obviously, but what drama did he bring to Chicago, Philly, and Miami? I havent read anything that is a major red-flag regarding it.

He got into it with D Rose in Chicago. He didn’t like the Rose was the prodigal son and he’d get pissed of that no one thought he was a star.

In Philly he got into it with Ben Simmons and Doc Rivers. Jimmy wanted to be the primary ball handler. Unlike in Minnesota with KAT.....Ben isn’t going to let him do that. Ben told the organization that he wasn’t letting a Jimmy handle the ball constantly. Jimmy gets pissed during his free agency decision.....comes back to the states after being in Paris for months and then he tells Philly he wants his money so they need to sign and trade him.

Bam and TH being indecisive and losing confidence doesn't (or at least shouldn't) have anything to do with Jimmy. Bam is getting paid $163 million and Tyler is a high-level scorer off the bench. If they are somehow scared of Jimmy to the point where they are missing and/or not taking open shots, then there are serious questions regarding their mental toughness.

Bam is still on his rookie contract making $5 million this year and is taking as much blame at 23 years old as 10 year vet, $34 million a year face of the franchise Jimmy Butler. It's always someone else's fault. Maybe Jimmy has mental toughness issues. He is a team worst -68 and made 7 FGs in a must win game at home.

Dude should be a politician the way he controls the media and narratives that fans buy into.

And all I’m saying is, that his pattern of bad history appears to be reappearing on the Heat’s team. I have even defended Jimmy B here before. No one is excusing anyone’s play, but I’ve watched the game for decades and you can just clearly see something is going on internally. And I’m far from the only one stating this.

I watched Butler in the 3rd quarter last night and he was awful on everything he did. Airballs. Wandering around leaving people wide open for 3 pointers. Air balls. I think Maxey is about to get more playing time for the Sixers on the bright side! He has been balling and they need another guard to step up. Maxey is just a natural crafty scorer. I think he becomes the 6th man next year.

I think Maxey will become the steal of his draft class. Depending on how the next series goes, he very well could get more minutes. Next year, I do definitely believe he will be a rotational piece.

I get that but they traded away 2 promising role pieces in Covington and Saric for him and were constantly showing loyalty to him by letting him run the offense in the playoffs. If he wanted to prepare for retirement in Miami he should’ve just said that but instead he constantly talked about coming back.
