I can see us adding one guard in the next couple of weeks....but unfortunately I think Cal is going to wait until the NBA deadline on the Carr’s and Zagarowski’s of the world for our starting PG and it’s going to be a brutal wait lol

I doubt UK gets any of the Illinois players. It's bad enough to take their top 2 assistants... if players follow to UK, going to get Ugly!!!

What gives with the nickname "Chin"? I saw his picture and he appears to have a fairly average size chin.

Ron Coleman was a successful point guard at Lamar University and was all conference and led his team in scoring for three years before trying out with the Houston Rockets and then going overseas.

I think he got it in his youth. When he first became an assistant, he tried to drop the nickname but apparently that didn’t work.

Just judging by the way things have gone, I would say pump the brakes on Curbelo following.

It's already been said Chin and O told Underwood they wouldn't bring any players with them, hence one reason why Cal never seriously went after Miller, so going after Curbelo would be odd.

That's BS if true.I'm sure UK is paying them very well so they need to be getting guys who could help even if they are at Illinois.

I honestly thought Antigua would have been the first to announce but, whatever works. Within 24 hours both may be on staff.
And regarding Miller, he wasn't a big loss. There's a reason he ended up at LSU instead of UK. And no I'm not insinuating a "strong *** offer" was involved.

Me too. I figured Coach 0 would have already been announced by now, especially.

Neither coach has "been announced" officially. The word was last week that Antiqua was coming to UK, and today the word came out that Chin was also coming. The job postings expire today, so expect the official announcement of both within 24 hours.

This. No announcement yet by UK on either. Probably be tomorrow.

I don't believe Coach Cal had plans to bring some of his top recruits with him to Kentucky from Memphis but look what happened.

Chin an Chapman wrote/ produced several great songs by The Sweet in the 70's. I wonder if they are related.
