2011 and 2014 regular seasons were double digit losses and 2013 was terrible. 2011 and 2014 made the F4 which was great but I hardly call those years our greatest stretch in history. Mid 90s were a great time to be a UK fan. Those teams played a fun brand of basketball and we didn’t have any down years in the regular season like we have had half the time Cal has been here.
In the 90s we went into games to destroy opponents run and gun , shoot the 3 , and full court press you we were race horses. Now every game we play we go into good team or not and we have to end up slugging it out the whole game!
That’s part of our problem it takes us too long to get a good shot. We don’t get into our offense quick enough. Joe B. used to call it early offense.
