There are some really good teams left in this tournament. Stay tuned for some excellent basketball the next few games

Arkansas has a group of killers, houston,
Alabama and Baylor are both incredible. I don't believe Baylor's guards are going to let them lose. I like Alabama a lot but I don't believe they can beat Baylor

Then you have Michigan and Florida State.

I was wrong (a rarity) about Houston. I held the belief that they were overrated playing in a crappy league and Memphis playing them down to the wire twice.

Everyone who won yesterday won ugly. Two teams won while shooting less than 40% from the field. One game was 24-16 at halftime. The winning scores were 65, 62, 72, and 62.

The Oral Roberts-Arkansas game was fun because it was close, but how in the world was the score that low when both teams were just driving to the basket right past the defense the entire game?

ORU-ARK game started with cold, cold, cold shooting. I think had they both been hitting early on, the score would have been in the 80's easily.

You weren’t wrong. They beat a 15, 10 and an 11 seed to get to the Elite 8. And will now get a 12 seed for the right to go to the Final Four. I know, I know, you can only do play the teams that are in front of you, but this is a significantly down year in college basketball and Houston is not a great basketball team. They play hard, but I haven’t been overly impressed with them this year.

Houston attacks the glass and plays really hard, but I'm a bit skeptical with how terrible they are at shooting the ball that UK fans would like them.

I don’t believe the AAC is a crappy conference. It’s consistently the 6th or 7th best conference in basketball depending on how bad the worst conference from the big 6 is. That’s too 20% in college basketball.

I’ve thought for a few years now that a major conference should scoop them up. They have been pretty good in the 2 major sports and would bring the 8th largest TV market.

I don't disagree with you I'm just not sure there's a conference where it would make sense. SEC already has Texas A&M, Big XII regionally makes the most sense but the NCAA has allowed them to have a lucrative conference championship game with only ten teams, so no need to bring in 2 more teams.

They'd fit right in the B12 and could compete in basketball from day 1.

Scary thing is what is the NCAA's excuse for this? All the games are being played in real basketball arenas so the shooting background excuse is out the window.

Loyola, Villanova, and Syracuse dictated the pace and lower scoring and as one poster had posted about Cuse previously-not going to win many games shooting 13 for 50 from the field.

You don’t have to admit it. Hell, no one even remembers.

Wouldn't beat yourself up too much-they were a missed ally oop dunk away from being down 10 with just under 3 mins left against Rutgers in 2nd Round. Not like they ran them out of the gym.

Yea when two good teams play I don't expect a high scoring game
Defense wins
