Loyola can make some noise if they continue to shoot like this. Theyve been on absolute fire this half.

"Of course we had to be the team to get Oral Roberts couldn't have got Iona or Grand Canyon or Drexel or something.

I never dreamed this possible this was the best Ohio State since the Craft and Sullinger days."

What the hell happened to UT this year? Many thought they were a Final Four team. Started on fire (10-1), will finish the year going 8-9

Sometimes I get the feeling that the inmates run the asylum on Barnes coached teams. Seem to remember Schofield refusing to go into a game in OT a couple of years ago,

Went away from trying to work thru Fulkerson inside and let the two freshmen play one on one hero ball.

Worked in Lexington but not many other times. Played .500 ball from the Switch.

No way Calipari did what Mussleman did right there
Cal will not start pressing until 4 minutes left in a game
Mussleman knew he wasn’t winning a half court let’s run plays game against Colgate
What a great move use your athleticism and get after someone - I wish a Coach we knew would let his athletes go sometimes especially at Rupp
Yep. I watched that too. That press completely changed the complexion of the game. Colgate had no answer. Amazing what a team can do when they dictate the tempo, instead of playing the way the opposition wants them to.

You’re absolutely right, Cal wouldn’t have thrown a press on there. I mean, have we ever seen him do that? I can’t remember a time he did. If he did, we came out of it quickly, most likely first time the other team scored. The lack of adjustments on Cal’s part is absolutely mind boggling.

We did do that tho. Against ND when we were down by a ton.
I think perhaps in that game we made the adjustment but IIRC we didn't make that adjustment until after the 2nd half began.

I was one. And I still am. I do like him as a coach. Upsets happen. Still happy to see them lose though. And was cheering for Oral Roberts.

Well this thread was merged with another. That was slightly directed towards someone who was calling out OSU for the pre-game stuff.

That said, Holtmann has made it past the round of 32 once as a head coach, never has at OSU and 2 of the 3 losses were against a lower seed in first/second round.

He really hasn't proven enough to be the HC of Kentucky.
