We need a PG. Period.
Is Powell good enough at the point to run the show? I don't know. But I really, really hope we land him and think we will.

Boston was able to get his own shot at will. He just can't shoot. Which is kind of important. But added strength and a lot of time in the gym will help that. I think the kid can be a really good college basketball player. He seems to have a good work ethic. I really hope we get a 2nd season from him.
I think people saying "The old bastard can't coach" about Cal are ridiculous.
He sure as touch did a **** job this year. But he is one year removed from winning the SEC by 3 games and in the last tournament we were OT away from the Final Four.
Kentucky basketball isn't about close calls and "almosts", though. Cal knows this. Despite what some of you think, he hates to lose. This season is eating him up and I expect him and the Cats to bounce back with a vengeance. If he doesn't, we move on. This is the University of Kentucky, not the University of Calipari, Jodie Meeks or White Wayne.

Adding weight and improving his shot. I know he was terrible this year, but those are two changes that are extremely common when a player returns for his second season. It’s not a leap to envision that. Pretty much been happening for 100+ years in college basketball.
is it common for our wings to add 15 lbs in the off season here? This seems more like a cutting S&C program not a bulking
Good case of a decision benefitting both UK and Boston. So probably won’t happen.
I should put this in terms Wayne can understand:
Tim Lincecum’s rookie year he was a slightly above average pitcher with an ERA of 4.00, and a bit of a control problem, walking 4 batters per 9 innings pitched.
Thankfully he returned to the Giants roster, rather than being designated for assignment or traded. Upon improving his control and repertoire, he won consecutive Cy Young awards over the following 2 seasons.
In addition, Wayne and his slootbag college lass can GGP. She already has, of course.

More than a few wanted Bogans gone after his Junior season. He tried but came back.
I would gladly have a bunch of rich ******** I don't know spend their money on improving our coaching situation than buying another lake house.

VEGAS RUNDOWN:
- Shew, what a trip. Costly and took years off my life, but what a trip.
- BBdK had the Rainman suite, and was extremely hospitable with the pregames and Thursday night dance party. I've said it before, dude knows every in-and-out of Vegas. Huge props.
Have never had a bad time hanging out with that guy.
- Awesome crew, minus one. Had a few work folks with me, plus my buddy from NC who lives out there now. Not a complaint in the bunch.
- Also in attendance...remember Meow that I dated for a few years back in the day? She made an appearance with her friend. They were a blast. Good catching up privately too.
- My drinking/partying was in top notch form. Went the first 80+ hours on no sleep, food, or water. Had an alcoholic beverage in my hand that entire time.
- Gambling on the Strip sucks these days. Pretty much zero 3:2 blackjack tables. Got my *** handed to me all weekend.
- The amount of bitching about masks is also a pain in the ***. Dealers/security aren't even nice about it anymore...

- I pretty much have to add on an extra two days at the end of every Vegas trip to just sleep and recover. I physically couldn't have gotten on the plane when I was supposed to.

- I like the rooms in the resort tower at Bally's better than rooms at Paris.
- Going to need some time before I go back...but damn, I love that city.

Hickman is a PG but since Askew sucked last year Hickman will suck even worse. Also, no player on the roster will improve because that's never happened in the history of basketball. Plus, Cal can't coach. All his success at UK is because of Kenny Payne. So to wrap up, we will be worse next year than this year. No one should have any reason for optimism whatsoever.

Could've given 100 guesses at the Auburn FB coach's name and I wouldn't have been close. So he was at Boise? Were they even good? I just glossed over that whole deal. They're just in the worst spot. Both main rivals are crushing it and the in state rival is on a historic tear with no end in sight. Tough place to be. I'd say their insanity is completely justified.

Adderall is made from amphetamines. Crush those 30 mg up and snort them and it's quite different than a coke high. It's basically the classier version of meth and damn near impossible to fall asleep on without something like valium - even after hours and hours of partying.
The multiple all-nighter in Vegas is impressive. I always found that period between 7 AM to 9 AM the toughest to get through as it's a low energy time to be in the casino. So props to you Tommy!

I mean I go to sleep after taking Vyvanse 40s every day, but if you mean crushing them and snorting them throughout the day, then yeah I can definitely buy 80 hours awake without eating. Amphetamines absolutely destroy your appetite.

I've gone 50+ hours no sleep on Adderall (and other things), with pti actually, but I'm not buying 80 hours either. You start seeing **** after about 48 hours and your body shuts down, no matter what stimulants you've taken. If you're drinking that long with no food, you'd **** yourself to death too.
I hadn't seen her in years, we're still friends, never been to Vegas, she looked great, and we had a great time.
