Gonzaga pays their players too? The rest of the top 10 is paying players to stay for their Jr and Sr seasons?

Kentucky just so happens to have a brand new team every year because they don’t pay their players....

Bless your heart.
And may god bless you as well my son.
Now as far as cheating goes look around and find a trace of that shirt since cal has been here.
A lot of programs have been proven guilty of some truly under handed stuff.

I actually do. I don’t begrudge him for one bad year at all. I just see that he’s changed his demeanor as a person, the way he coaches, the way he goes nuts on the sideline etc. I believe the thing that gets me the most is his cheap shots at the fans. Some of the BBN are over the top but most UK fans are the best fans in college basketball by far. They support UK better than any other fan base and he’s throwin’ some shade at the fans now. I’m NOT angry, NOT burning my gear etc. I just feel like I’d like to see him go and I honestly think UK basketball will be fine.

He’s yelled from day one! As far as him saying things about fans can you blame him? Have you read some of the idiot post on this board? Can you imagine what he hears on a daily basis from dumbass fans that Have no clue what they’re talking about? Not only that, we’ve had fans message his kids talking ****. I don’t care what you do for a job or who you work for, that **** would get old. I don’t blame him for standing his ground.

Look. Apparently you’re a big Cal fan. That’s your right. I think he needs to go. That’s my right. He probably isn’t going anywhere so be happy.

You never know, he may just decide to hang it up after this season and move on to something else. I hope he stays and wins another title. There is still some fight in him yet.

No I just don’t like idiot fans! If this was an every year thing I could understand but this year is an abnormal year. Throw that in with the fact that he didn’t get to practice with this team like he needed AND Boston has lived up to the hype AND we’ve had injuries. Like I said, been a weird year!

You just said it, "Because we are UK." Some of you think Cal is UK. Your wrong, UK is UK, and it made Cal. Why do you think he kept asking his wife if UK had called, which he said he did. It's just like Alabama in football. There are other good programs, but there is only one UK, and we are at the TOP, followed by Duke, NC and Kansas. UCLA was once a great program, but no more. I don't want Cal to make us like UCLA.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!
I agree with you that we are the top program of all time. But where were we before he came and rebuilt UK? We worse off than UCLA at the time. That’s worth something in my book. He gets the opportunity to fix it.

I support giving him a chance to turn this sinking ship around. Cal deserves at least another year to fix this disaster.
He also needs to recognize that an iceberg was struck, the lifeboats are loaded and a string band is playing sad songs on the deck.
Someone needs a little perspective.

Unfortunately, Barney gave him a lifetime contract. The buyout is to many $$$$$$. He will be here until he decides to leave on his own terms.

I also don't think replacing Cal fixes the problem like many think it will. The problem has much more to do overall with the OAD system than Cal. Any coach we replace Cal with will still be recruiting OAD players....just not as many maybe. As long as OAD is allowed by the NCAA....the sport will continue to die a slow, painful death due to talent drain, fake injuries, lack of commitment to the school they attend, transfers and the total loss of connection now between the fans and the players.

Exactly, fans are wanting the game that they watched in the 80’s and 90’s but that form of college basketball is long gone and is not coming back unfortunately
