Never once saw wcc at Laugh Track Live, he didn't wax ab.com that I'm aware of, couldn't pick Clay Leavell out of a lineup, never lived on South Campus in the dorms, and has never eaten a Mad Mushroom cheesestick in his life.

F him.

Never went to UK.

Two of those are false.

Meh, bad form. I love that girl.

-Anyone have a strong opinion on the 20M showdown tomorrow between Charlatan & Knicks Go? Others?

Richest horse race in the world, and No telling what the Baffert Barn will be up to over in the Middle East - can you inject primo Saudi oil into a horse, and does it really work?

I'm not even remotely getting my hopes up, but it would be hilarious if we won the SEC tournament, got in, and went on some miraculous run. I can dream.

No. It wouldn't. It would just give Calipari ammo to act like everything is fine and he planned it that way the whole time.

This is not internet ********. I would rather us lose every single game the rest of the year than some fluke run at the end that allows the UK admin to gloss over this debacle.

Things need to change.

Serious question for all you fellow foodies/business tycoons -- how do other pizza establishments manage to even stay in business when being forced to compete against Mad Mushroom?

It's not even fair, really.

Probably understandable to ask the same question of Labambas, too.

Back to Vegas. Got the Pandoramic suite at the Vdara comped for weekend. Never stayed there before. Assuming it’s just like any other MLife property out there? /ukguy78

Bc mad mushroom pizza is an abomination?

Dope Stix obviously, add pep or toppings for true pros, but that’s a niche drunk product. #Super20

I’ve had Mad Mushroom exactly zero times since college, in probably 100+ trips & stays with Wodie Sloot. So...

Pretty much out of sight/mind for anyone but broke drunk kids

No threat whatsoever to good pizza places.

My senior year at UK I lived on south limestone in a house above two keys. Being across the street from mad mushroom means I ate it so much that the smell of it would probably make me gag at this point. Haven’t had it since graduation 2004. Large with pineapple was my go to. My buddy had a bad mushroom trip and ran in there in his underwear at 1 AM one night and I had to carry him out so I feel I did my part in providing the workers lifelong memories.

My wife, noticing my developing Manhattan addiction, got me a woodford double oaked (whatever that means) for Valentines. Think I actually prefer regular woodford. Is there a go to bourbon for manhattans?

Yeah - if you like hotels with no casino & set well off the strip back in the weird *** ‘City Center’ complex.

Connected to Aria of course, but I hate that location, or any south of Cosmo.

It’s really nice, more vacation style rooms with kitchenette/etc, but a 30 minute walk to get to anywhere else of interest.

I’d pay a little to stay elsewhere MLife over there for free all day, but JMO. It’s Vegas

If you don’t order Mad Mushroom on the Mon/Tues/Wed specials it’s actually “pricey” for what it is nowadays.
While we’re at it I’m a little pissed that we used to have *7* pizza joints right around us and now we’re down to Joe B’s and Mellow :chairshot:

Iona with an efficient 54 points at the break.

Love Gist, the point guard for Iona.

He has old man strength and looks to be only 37-38 years old.

Their coach looks like he is walking in to the Lexington Athletic Club circa 1991.

My parents used to *worship* Joe B's, especially the breadsticks swimming in butter/garlic.

Am I misremembering, or didn't it used to be across the street in the dumpy building that would go on to house Tattoo Charlie's? Would have been 30+ years ago.

I know I’ve order Mad Mushroom after a tailgate or two. It’s just been a long time. The xtra large cheesesteak does not fit in any refrigerator on earth.

- Got poked with that sweet arm nectar today. I haven’t been this excited over a drug since the HeartStopper 2000 showed up on campus.

- The Kroger vaccination sites are accepting any Kentucky residents who book an appointment. No eligibility screening whatsoever other than residence. Give it a try. More slots may not open up (lol) until early next week, at least in NKY, as the site is open thurs-sat. Not sure what the horse park’s schedule is. Tons of young people in line today, so folks are on to it. The Walgreens portal is also fruitful, so I’ve heard.

- “Eat my ***” has really worked its way up in my daily lexicon. Said it at least half a dozen times today, 5 of them in jest.

- Northern Campbell County folks - the fish fry at 915 is the real deal. Outstanding sandwich. Go with the onion ring sidecar.

- Speaking of unhealthy food, had a double quarter pounder (with cheese) yesterday for the first time in years, maybe decades. It was a really outstanding burger. I feel like the cheese should be standard, without having to specify “with cheese.”

-Rogue, good to see you’re above ground, buddy. I legitimately figured you had succumbed.

- Following the bachelor controversy earlier this week, some college buddies were circulating via the group text thread really obnoxious photos of us dressed up in confederate officer uniforms and fist fighting blackout drunk while our dates looked on in horror in their multi-colored hoop dresses. My eventual cancellation is inevitable, and totally warranted. But, kids will be kids, I’m not going to regret or worry about **** I did while young and having the time of my life. But it was pretty damned obnoxious in retrospect.

- You people who don’t shovel your drives and walks are abhorrent. You own a house, you clear the snow. It’s that simple. Same reason you shave your face every morning. Have some goddamned respect about things.

- It’s hilarious having a miniature dachshund in weather conditions like this. The snow is about three times as tall as him, so I get it. He just ***** right on the driveway, with no remorse whatsoever.

- I might get loaded this weekend. Not **** else to do. Except for the St. Thomas K-2 Intramural League on Sunday afternoon. God bless Catholic education. What a gift it has been this year.

- I know there’s a lot of good country fans on here. Honky Tonk Heroes is a top five album of mine, all time, of any genre, not just country. Waylon has just always resonated with me. 1989 admittedly was well past his prime, but he was on point for this show. Had also been sober for a while, and you can tell he had entered a contemplative and reflective period. I watch this several times a year, and it still gives me chills:

- Now I'm down in this valley
Where the wheels turn so low
At dawn I pray, to the Lord of my soul
I say do Lord, do right by me
You know I'm tired of being
lonesome, on'ry and mean

I had a buddy that lived up there. You weren't roommates with Will C where you?

So there were apartments up there (where I had some buddies) but there was also a stand alone brick house literally beside two keys which is where I lived. My room was above the pool tables and one of my roommates rooms overlooked the outside patio. There was a guy I know named Will that got into sports broadcasting I think but can’t remember what his last name was. One of my roommates bought the Paddock (and still owns it) the following year. Some people that post here seem to know him I found out.
