We had back-to-back-to-back possessions in that game: Missed Pippen double dribble, bogus charge, phantom loose ball foul. You can't convince me those refs didn't have Vandy on the money line.

The sport is broken because of this stuff. At no level is that basket taken away. College refs actively discourage exciting plays. No wonder these players want to get to the pros.
don’t forget a trip or 2 later Pippen pushed Mintz with his off-arm on the drive in front of the ref and Mintz gets called for a foul.
And the Pippen timeout walk which was right in front of an official.
The Auburn game they also missed another stepping on the line when inbounding. Called one, missed another that was blatant.

Player slid under Brooks after he left the floor. Unfortunately it occurred during the stretch of the game where shows wanted to exert his influence on the game.

That call was close to me . What wasn't close was double dribble or Pippen taken 4 steps before calling timeout . The order does matter . Call timeout then pick up the ball and take 4 steps
When I saw that play, I just thought Keon's got the power. He can do amazing dunks. Then the ref took it away like thats not how you play basketball....

It shouldn’t have been close. A charge should be when a guy is driving in and bull dozes over a guy. It should never be called a charge once an offensive player leaves his feet in a shot attempt.

I feel the opposite. I don't want the guys being conditioned to step away from contact for fear of being posterized. Maybe it should have been a foul. Maybe it shouldn't have. But at least the kid threw his body in the way in hopes of helping his team. I'd hate to see that mindset leave the college game for more glamorous dunks and higher scores.
Not me. That only favors the less talented, less athletic team. Usually the most talented and athletic team is Kentucky. I’m a Kentucky fan. Hands down, the worst play in basketball. Possibly, the worst play in all of sports. JMO.

No ****. They called a 3-sec call on IJ LMFAO. I don't think I have seen that called any other game this year. I mean that call takes effort against a team because they could probably make that call 10+ times a game every game if they wanted to.
Its hard for me to blame refs after a win. In fact it should help our players moving forward as Jackson needs to stay out of the lane after a couple of tics.
On to Knoxville where there will be next to no orange in the stands, UK has revenge on its mind v a bitter rival, and for a change UK has momentum riding a 2 game win streak and we need the game more than UT.
With the emergence of Toppin, Cal needs to shorten his rotation further to 7:

I would only say that I would consider playing Allen from time to time because of his ability to get hot and knock down some threes.
I would keep Ware planted on the bench barring severe foul trouble.
If Allen comes in cold and misses a couple he’s out.
Its just the way it is as he brings very little else to the table besides shooting and this team has a razor thin margin for error based on the closeness of 11 of the 20 games we have played so far.
