Lol, he's not bashing anyone. He's telling people truths they don't want to hear. He is 100% on cue and if he wss saying the opposite you would be loving him right now.
Funny. He’s saying the narrative you wanna hear (cal is awesome and he’s the best coach he’s never had any wrongdoings) and you love him for it. It goes both ways.
Not at all. Did I ever say I love Vitale or agree with him all the time? I can remain neutral about him either way.
Also, he never said Cal was awesome or had no wrongdoings. He said he was one of the best coaches in the country and it would be stupid to fire him. He also said some fans on social media were being unreasonable.

Did the same with Tubby and BCG when they left/got fired. Hell, this idiot defended Pitino when he was caught up in the FBI probe and fired.

Apparently, he doesn’t get it bc 90% of the disgruntled fans are tired of the program hemorrhaging players & starting from scratch every year. The terrible season is just the last straw. I’ve seen VERY few ppl cite our bad season as the sole reason they want Cal to go. I’m one who believes Cal deserves the right to fix his mess but if he has no intention of ditching his current format then he can leave tonight. Speaking for only myself, that is what I’m sick of & the ONLY reason I’d want him to leave. And, I hope he does change & starts building a traditional roster. But, if not, then I’ve seen all I need to see. If ppl are gonna rail on the fans they could at least get the story right.
As soon as the next good season comes around, which will be sooner rather than later, posts like this will be laughed off the board. “The traditional roster” is not coming back... ever... under any coach. You adapt or you die

There’s no good reason for the commentators like Divk Vitale to bash fans in the middle of calling a game or Bob Wischusen to say Kentucky would be stupid to fire Cal. Cal isn’t above any criticism. Outside of some on the board here, there hasn’t been a widespread call to fire him. It’s totally stupid.

I think you think we are talking about something other than traditional rosters never coming back to college basketball.
Not sure what you’re getting at....Vitale loves Smith so he naturally took his side.
When some of the fan base say stupid stuff on this board (like wanting Cal gone) I say bash away! Say stupid stuff. Get called out on national TV. It is deserved, IMO

BS. How many schools are currently using Cal’s blueprint? There are maybe 2-3 other schools losing multiple FR every season but still nowhere near the rate we do. And, NOBODY loses more underclassmen to terrible decisions & transfers, either. Without looking I’d guess we’ve lost at least twice as many underclassmen as the next closest team since 2010. The overwhelming majority of schools have traditional rosters, we are the exception.
I’ll agree that we’ll probably never see teams STACKED with high production upperclassmen again. But, 95% of schools will have contributing 2-4 year players & won’t be replacing 6-8 guys every season. What we have now is not sustainable or enjoyable & if you think it is & will never change regardless of the coach then you don’t need to be laughing at ANYBODY’S posts.
Is it really worth mentioning when the wide majority of the fans aren’t calling for his head? Also, just because someone expresses an opinion on here that you don’t agree with means that some idiotic over the top commentator should be called out on national television? Fans are ticked off with the product this year but Cal is no where near being on the hot seat with the exception of some people on here and social media.
