In our house, Super Bowl is close to Christmas as far as food is concerned. Wings, chips, beer are popular items, but what are your favorite treats for Super Bowl Food?

Superbowl for me is going to someone else's house to eat. At worst, and in a year like this, we'll get wings and pizza.. because wings and pizza is what New York does well (..and nothing else).

Typically wings, chili, nachos and or queso dip, pizza, cheesesteak rolls, lots of ice cold beer.

Truth be told this year Im probably just going to sit here at home solo and watch, so as of now my plan is just to get good beer, plenty of wings, and maybe some knick knacks. Nothing too wild.

Crockpot candy with either peanuts or crushed pretzels

1 pack of vanilla almond bark
2 bags semisweet choc chips
1 bag butterscotch chips

melt in crockpot stirring every 20-30 mins to prevent burning until all is melted and stirred smooth. Add in one container of peanuts or crushed up pretzels. Stir. Drop on parchment paper and stick in fridge for 30 mins (or freezer for faster). AMAZING AND ADDICTIVE

I make this same dip. The only difference is that I use Jimmy Dean Regular or Hot sausage depending on how much of a kick I want.
It‘s good stuff 😋

We might make nachos most years, but as a life-long Chief's fan, the last two years call for chili (as does any Chiefs/Raiders game).

1 1/2 pounds of hamburger
3 cans of beans
2 chili packets
Puree the following:
one yellow onion
4 ripe tomatoes
3-4 hot peppers
1 red pepper
Add the following:
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 pint Kentucky bourbon
1/4 cup bacon grease
Start cooking on Saturday morning for a Sunday game.

Go Chiefs!!!

What’s the recipe?

Thaw at 120 for ten min, give them a very light oil (spray works well) very light flour (optional), a little old bay. Air fry at 350 for 25-30 min. Turn once or twice. So easy.

Might break out the real fry this year since we won’t be busy and we bought an oil thermometer. Maybe next year I’ll get a smoker.

EDIT: btw I recommend the Instant brand Vortex air fryer. Very consistent, large capacity.

Finally something good to talk bout.60 wings made traditional and 20 made to hot to handle for those who dare.I use the Famous Dave's Devils spit and set them asses on fire. Also deer ground meat cheese dip, homemade guacamole with fresh ground black pepper, probably Godfathers super deluxe pizza,
The mix drink bar is gonna be crazy, frozen margaritas, frozen mojitas, sparkling water with kickers, 8 16 Oz budwiesers in aluminum bottles, Bullitt Bourbon 104 proof. Two days off when I get off Sunday at 2pm.Wish it was a final four party instead.

Those Dave’s can get abusive. It fun to drop in some Da Bomb into another sauce and it’s more heat than flavor by itself. I make sauces at home, and I’ve experimented with carrot based habanero sauces, kombucha based sauces, and a crazy long lasting blueberry scorpion black pepper (Best on a smoked wing) - the low acidity of the blueberry and fresh ground pepper makes the burn go forever.
