Didn't we get flagged for doing the DPR at mid field???

[InTheCellarNoMore]

Looks like it's ok to dance pre kickoff at midfield since it's Kentucky http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/kentucky-football/kentucky-football-dance-2014/

I dont' recall an in-game penalty, but i certainly remember the unveil on the anti-DPR rule and it was 'splained then "thou shall not"

I don't recall ever being penalized for it. Kentucky may have gotten away with it because it was spontaneous, and ours was planned.

I was just about to post the same thing.
This is great news! Dancing is fine again. It's like the end of Footloose!

No, it was only done before game started right... assume why no flag

I don't think we were ever flagged for it. Only told we would be if we continued to do it at midfield before a kick-off. When it started, we did it on the field before a kickoff much like what you see UK doing here. We got away with it a couple of times before word came down that it was no longer allowed. SO it moved to the sideline.

I thought someone danced on the T in Knoxville and that's what set it off.

Georga stomped the T in Knoxville. After that week, there were no on the field scenes that would draw attention to yourself. We did it on the field to start the game the next week and got flagged. From then on, we did it on the sideline and it was allowed.
