Brought us all in there and said “you’re done, you’re not coming back, if you need us you have our numbers, we’ll help you with whatever, but you’re not playing another college basketball game”.

I can't imagine any other coach in CBB operates like this.

I think you guys are missing the point. Any other coach who could get a 5 star freshman or 2 back would take them in a heartbeat. But cal tells them to go because “it’s bigger than basketball”.yata yata yata. He basically confirms what we’ve all known. He just cares about the draft picks the game won are just a byproduct of the talent.

Speaking of Sheray Thomas. I liked Sheray Thomas. He might not have been a good player, but I never worried aboout his effort. Some of these guys on the current team I worry very much about it. You can make up for some of your shortcomings just with effort. That Reece kid from Bama did the most punking of our players since that Duke beatdown a couple of seasons ago. Those Bama kids really fed off of him that game.
