Rumors are that Tshiebwe is looking to transfer from WVU but I haven't heard anything about any specific school(s) of interest. UK was involved before, would you want to pick him up? Anyone heard if UK will be involved?
No idea. But, if interested, he could transfer and play right away given the rule change, right? Or was that to go into effect starting next year?

if his problem is what's being floated around about his work ethic then he wouldn't do well under Cal

If he can't play for Huggins he can't play for Cal, there seems to be red flags around this guy.
It used to be that Calipari could get the best out of players. Now... if you can't perform for a coach that has never won the Big-12 (and has as many seasons in the bottom half of his league as in the top half), then you can't be expected to improve under Calipari.

I wish I could dispute this claim, but the evidence is fairly damning.

was wondering about his big guy
was watching WVU over the holidays & heard the announcer say he was no longer with the team & wondered what the story was.

would be a nice addition...…...wasn't he close to coming to UK out of high school?

I heard the same, they seemed to emphasize that he would not return(as in not be welcome) I think I also heard personal reasons

Dudes a bruiser . Can’t win big without a legit 5 . Get him .
Ware plays with the ferocity of a bruiser, but he's still a little slight to be called a bruiser. And Collins coming in next year is certainly not a bruiser yet. So, unless he's trouble, I would also say get him.

Prior to the McDonald’s All-American Game, Tshiebwe told KSR that he loved UK head coach John Calipari and what the Kentucky basketball program had to offer.

“It was a hard decision because I like Kentucky and I love Coach Calipari,” Tshiebwe said. “But I ended up at West Virginia because it’s a school I used to think about (growing up). I like the way they play, I like the coach, I like the program. That’s why I ended up going there.”

And had he not signed with the Mountaineers, he was headed to Lexington.

“Coach Calipari was telling me, “I want to coach you! Come play for me! I’m going to coach you and help you become a great player. I’ll help you reach your dreams. … Kentucky was second.”
