Bought the night before on Amazon last night so I can watch every year unedited. By far best adult Christmas movie.

K didn’t do ****, WTF are we talking about here. He rode Jason Tatum to a sweet sixteen and that 2018 team with multiple generational talents and a returning 5 star upperclassman point guard barely got out of the 2nd round. What K showed is that the one and done is an insanely difficult and terrible way to try and build a program and that he has no idea how to do it.

Umm K did NOT make the Sweet 16 with Tatum.

What is weird is that at Memphis, Calipari had roster management as perfect it gets. He always had a stable of experienced, skilled, and tough veterans that he added to every year with elite NBA talent. Guys like Dorsey, Dozier, Antonio Anderson, etc were awesome college basketball players who stayed four years at Memphis. I'd run over krazykats with a car (he's used to it) to have that nucleus at Kentucky for four years.

I know that was 10-15 years ago and the college basketball landscape has changed, but that SHOULD be the goal that we (and every other elite program) are striving for. Keion Brooks should be one of those guys like Dorsey who is here four years and then goes on to get a cup of coffee in the NBA and make bank overseas. And we ought to have a roster full of them -- Hagans, Montgomery, etc.

Yet UK fans are treated like we should be elated that Keion Brooks humbled himself to stay for his sophomore year when the rest of his goofball teammates left before they could hone their decent but not great talent into tough, veteran college basketball players and actually win some real games in a Kentucky uniform instead of playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

You know, if Cal really believed that DREAMS **** he constantly pushes, he would recruit and develop a lot more of those Memphis type players. These AAU babies don’t need Cal for anything, and they play like it.

Gus Bus out at Auburn. Covid doesn't mean **** to them.

My guess is they like the Coastal Carolina guy or Freeze.

God help Cal if that Powell kid at Auburn has a big game against us. Could be a Chris Lofton on steroids situation.

This pisses me off so much. Many of us wondered out loud why we weren’t recruiting this kid.

I wouldn’t mind Tandy either considering we have two guards and one is Askew and the other Mintz.

Grad transfers are nice and all on a young team but it would be a real.joy to have and watch a junior or senior who has actually been in the program the entire time being a leader.

Dom Hawkins was a joy to watch. Always had that huge smile and was game to come up and lock someone down at the most needed time. Willis should have been the same but Calipari hated him, even though Willis should have been a good veteran player if we worked with his limitations.

I never understood what happened with Tandy. His dad gave one interview and didn’t even really say anything too outlandish given today’s standard with tweeting loudmouth parents...but he got the cold shoulder after that.

Not that he’s some major difference maker just that I believe Cal would rather not recruit Kentucky kids because he doesn’t like be questioned about their PT. He’ll look for any excuse not to.

I think everybody forgets that, for reasons unknown, we're (apparently) not allowed to use our full scholarship allotment. The frustration isn't that Cal isn't getting the players that he wants; rather, it's that he's getting EXACTLY the number and type of players that he wants. As has been correctly noted, he wouldn't give minutes to these additional players anyway were we to have them.

We are <certain> players first around here. Higher profile players can say they played at Kentucky for a year, Cal can say he brought in X players that later became professionals. I was fine with 'using' those guys as well if it meant success on the court for the program. When apathy is hitting people in this thread, it speaks volumes about the state of our program and college basketball in general.

CJ Frederick anyone?

But please don’t pretend any of those 3 would play. Tandy, perhaps - but only Bc we don’t have a single pg on the roster.

CJ Frederick would have signed with UK on a moment’s notice. But he never even heard from us. Cov Cath coach still pissed about that.

*Auburn firing Malzahn and buying him out is insane... tells me they have their man already. They wanna be Bama so bad. Like the cut of their jib though. ::Respect knucks::

*Cats better get a genius OC. These games have been so ugly. The program, fans, and players need some juice.

*making a family recipe today. Napolitano Orzo Soup (with the little meatballs). Perfume. 🙏🏻

*Durant and Kyrie look smooth tonight. Healthy Durant playing defense is a beautiful sight. My Nets.

*Bardstown Discovery Series #4 on order. I now have 2,3&4. This is a great flight.

+of all the online shopping, I highly recommend Bloomingdales. They have unreal sales on primo and lux items. Snagged some Paul Smith Oxford shoes (with a $350 discount) for Dad, whilst shopping for some outerwear for boys.

*vaccines are a coming, too bad Cuomo destroyed all of my favorite NYC restaurants.

Joe Moorhead is really weird looking but he seems like an ideal candidate. Former SEC head coach that had decent success at MSU, former OC at Penn State, current OC at Oregon, etc. I'd rather go that route than Brohm.
