I hate Clay and was rooting for Matt but unless there’s another response Clay destroyed.

I should have never even responded to the guy. Big mistake on my part. You can't ever win when you go up against someone that will go lower than you and whose audience includes the worst folks on the internet. With that said, I can't imagine my agent asked him if I could host his show....I wouldn't even be allowed to because of my deal with ESPN. But if he did, I might have to find a new agent as he is literally my least favorite person in media. But "nuh uh" isn't a very good response on Twitter and anything else I would have said would probably taken me to a place I wouldn't have wanted to go.

In other news, it is weird having sold KSR. It was the centerpiece of most everything I did for the last 15 years and building it has been the focus of most of my working life. I am still working on it as an employee but giving up ownership is tough. It was the right decision for a million reasons, including building for the future and the financial part of the deal, but walking away from 15 years and then all of a sudden its just not you who controls the purse anymore is crazy.

Very impressed with how Stoops is doing this OC search. He has talked to some very big names and while I am skeptical if a couple would really be interested, I think he has truly done his due diligence. I feel very good about who they end up with and I think it is down to two guys, both of which would be a good hire.

I am at a loss on basketball. There is no reason they should be this bad. I really feel like Calipari is at a transition point with a lot of our fanbase. Most still are big fans but they kind of are over his talking points and general way of dealing with them. I think they have to tread carefully over the next few weeks, especially if we continue to struggle.

I’m at a loss with bball too. We fell off a cliff and are looking like last years UNC team, but the massive turn on Calipari has been bizarre to watch, seems like legit 90% of fan base wants him gone which is psychotic to me. Maybe it’s this whole year has everyone extremely agitated in general. Who the hell knows what to expect.

That percentage is way too high. Big difference in being pissed at the guy and wanting him gone. You’re overestimating based upon an overly loud group.

Guy has given us a lot. He also needs to shut up, humble himself and realize what his job is, AND how best to fulfill said job.

I think everyone is fatigued with practically a brand new team every year and it seems there’s no way out of it. I guess maybe we want Cal to come out and say it? Or maybe hire some new assistants? Beats me but the natives are restless. All that needs to happen is players need to come back - but I don’t really know how to do that with our current “culture”.

Agreed. I think people have had it with the revolving door of players and style of play - especially with the postseason success not there lately. They/we want to see an adjustment - which is clearly needed - but it feels like he’s doubling down. One and done is dead. Oddly, I think Duke killed it.

I think for true “get him out of here!” you need poor postseason efforts and even his worst has been good. Our last 5 years- as much as we want more- is a Top 5-7 effort nationally. If we miss the tournament, though, it’s going to grow and I’m going to seriously start reconsidering my position.

Watched the first half and the last 10 minutes of the second. I’m not sure that I am either opportunistic or pessimistic about this team. What I do know is that I haven’t been upset one bit about any of the losses, been that way since 17 season tbh, and that bothers me.

Spent the evening in the kitchen with my better half making my Great Grandmothers sugar cookies from scratch. My mom made them every year but she’s been dead for 8. Finally worked up the nerve to try them. Turned out pretty good but not as good as mom’s. Probably never will be.

Put on some classic Christmas tunes (Elvis, Frank, Otis, NKC, etc), poured some brown water, cut out and frosted 60 of those bad boys. Looking forward to sharing with the fam, priorities and such.

What’s exhausting is that you would think Cal would run an NBA style in order to showcase guys and get them to the league. But he does the opposite. It’s maddening.

This team looked great using their length with pressure defense and he made the excuse of not being in shape as to why they don’t do it more. He’s got a huge roster this year so that does not make sense.

We joke about rolling the ball out but he really does the opposite and micromanaged the **** out of them. He’s learned nothing from 2015 and that is now almost 6 years ago and doubled down.

My only hope is the hiring of Lucas. But he he hired one of his yes men in Flint right before that so who knows.

Plus he makes $9 M so he needs to suck it he he up.

Mintz stunk today. Hit two of those wide open 3's and don't fumble the ball without anyone touching it and we win.

Clarke is going to be a stud, but it may take until February to see it.

Think at the very least Cal realized that the rotation is 7 until Keion comes back.

**Talked sh*t to anyone who would listen down here today that we were going to bounce back today. Whatever. We'll figure it out. Beat UCLA and UL, lose a couple dumbass SEC road games, and win the GD lig. F 'em and KMA.

Right now Cal is like that guy that hung onto college life 4 years too long.

“Come on, man...Two Keys then Redmonds tonight? Hearing Larry is playing!”

“Nah I gotta work tomorrow and I’m saving up for a down payment on a house I’ve been eyeing on Zillow.”

“What?! One and done, dribble drive, poop ice cream man, they aren’t robots!”

“I know you’ve got to get that Detroit game in for Brad so your family can tweet at each other but see I have this thing so...yeah. I’ll DVR it, swear.”

Our best player happens to be one of our only two seniors. A guy who is 21, our second oldest player, has 60 college games under his belt, and was a 3 star player ranked outside the top 200. And he’s DAMN good.

Calipari may be the last guy in the country to notice this shifting personnel landscape. What a shame.

Detroit will finally make it to Rupp this year. Unfortunately, it will be in late March for an NIT game. There will be banners hanging about Freshman that will lead us to the promise land next season.

In his 30 for 30, Cal bragged about reading the tea leaves. Too bad he stopped doing that.

Also, we're going to have to win the SEC tourney to make the Big Dance, if there is one. The SEC will be hungry and ready to take out these pussycats. There's another 6-7 losses waiting for us in league play. Believe that!

Imagine college basketball referees ruining a damn good game between Mizzou and Illinois.

Awful. Just awful...

Did Cal see Duke stealing his idea and actually coaching the freshmen to their strengths in the tea leaves? Well, except 2019. Don't think either of us had a lottery pick.

That’s the uncomfortable truth at this point. A 1-4 start any year is tough. A 1-4 start with a limited OOC schedule and the very real chance we miss conference games is very likely too much to overcome. Not to mention the part about us not being good.

I assume the NCAA is going to let every name team in the tourney this year and screw with the format so there are no selection criteria, like the bowl games.

The tournament is the NCAA cash cow and they lost it last year. No chance they risk having a tournament without Duke and UK in this dogass year.

Bought the night before on Amazon last night so I can watch every year unedited. By far best adult Christmas movie.

K didn’t do ****, WTF are we talking about here. He rode Jason Tatum to a sweet sixteen and that 2018 team with multiple generational talents and a returning 5 star upperclassman point guard barely got out of the 2nd round. What K showed is that the one and done is an insanely difficult and terrible way to try and build a program and that he has no idea how to do it.

Disagree with some if not most in here: 2015 was a huge kick in the nuts to/for Cal but 2017 was the knockout blow for him.

That Dante Calabria-knockoff who drained that stupid ball from trey ville... shew... he caused a man to become unhinged.

And here we all are.
