You’re not telling me anything I don’t already know. I try to tell everyone this all summer pretty much every year, and I get dubbed a negative fan and an *******.

So then why are we doing this?

Maybe it's delivery. I knew this style of recruiting was going to be hit or miss. This year isn't so much a "miss" as it is a shortened season. Don't think it's fair to label this team that, when so many other of Cal's team would have struggled under these circumstances.

I kind of want to lose.. none of these guys (aside from Clarke) are showing anything, and if we keep losing, some will have to come back. It's a wash of a year, anyways.

To avoid heart burn and lost tempers, never was a Cal coached team until mid January. Then watch rarely and get busy watching in February when all options for getting a high seed are gone but they are playing better. It is what it is, hold on I have to throw something at the tv.

I've been trying to tell most of you for years, to not assume a top recruit is going to be a 20/10 guy right out of the gate. IDK why we think that. I remember when people thought Keldon Johnson was our answer to wing, and Diallo was the next great NYC recruit.

Why do fans do this? We know better. A top10 freshman is NOT automatically better than a top200 Junior. And remember, ANY player that's ranked is a legit basketball player.

Thats the problem with this system Line, nobody knows if they're going to be any good, so why the f*ck are we doing it? How many times do we have to lose to bad teams and start off the season with crap basketball before your boy learns?

You're making up excuses when you know damn well Cal is the problem. Screw the damn NBA draft, start caring about KENTUCKY'S ROSTER.

I'm guessing this team isn't very good at listening in practice and is now finding out it is impossible to do in the game what you didn't do in practice. Askew looks so shook when he's in the game that he's gone full-on Goodwin squared. Every move guaranteed to be a mistake.
