Isaiah Jackson is the best Mutombo, Dontaie Allen is Klay thompson 2.0 (exaggeration), our point guards can’t throw a pass for their lives, and Sarr is a stud.
That's what my hope is. Neither is going to get 20 shots every single night. If they can accept that, and be a team player.. as you said WATCH OUT.

Some need our 5 star recruits to come out of the gates looking like the next Kobe, AD, etc. or else they'll get thrown to the scrap heap.

Defense and energy has been great. When sarr went out with 2 fouls is when KU got back in the game. Jackson has been ridciolous. DA hit a 3 but same **** on O. Still rough. Askew still doing nothing good. Clarke still rushing on O and not paying attention on D.
4 point halftime lead against Richmond and came out flat. The boys have been talking this week about being hungry. Let's see how hungry. Kansas adjusted now we need to adjust. Come out running.
we were good on D , lots of blocked shots —- Kansas was putrid . In all phases . We should be up 12-14 IMO .. we turned it over a bunch . Clark still Mia ... askew played really poor again . Sarr is looking great but 2 fouls and Cal pulled him .
Allen needs more time.

We played some of the best 10 minutes of defense you'll see all year.. but naturally, we let up, being a young team.
I thought we had some solid mid range jumpers, we have some guys proving to shoot the 3, and they should get more time cause of it. Free throws seemingly a little better.
It's almost like..
Richmond was the 2nd damn game these guys played together, with no exhibitions, and limited practice...

Went back and watched Allen from 7 minute roughly to 3 minutes. Everything seems fine. Defense was solid. So let's see if he gets run in the 2nd half. Maybe they are just bringing him along slowly. Working him in to game shape but not trying to risk anything. Wise move seeing as he was out for so long. I don't think Cal is purposely ignoring him. Seems more precautionary.
Man I hope we come out focused and looking better this 2nd half. CANNOT repeat sundays 2nd performance.
