I just really wish Cal would STFU. That’s it.
0-4 from 3 just before that half court heave.
Good lord. Update the offense

Left 7 points at the line. Have not hit a 3. That is why it is a 4 point game.
Cal yelling doesn't bother me. I guess I can tune him out or I just don't give a ****.

*Mintz has playable very poorly.
*Sarr is a stud and will be consistently throughout the year.
*10 turnovers in a half is way too many. Tighten it up boys.
*I’m okay with Boston taking deep early clock threes if he’s open.
*Really like our rebounding so far this year.

If we only had a deadeye 3pt shooter on the team.
Both Mintz and Askew were pretty shaky that half.

The nice part about Mint
is you feel like you will be able to trust him this year. Poor game thus far but no worries.

Atmosphere is about like watching Vandy and Mizzou on the Wednesday night SECT opener. Cheerleaders alone in the American Flag endzone upper deck. Leach and Pratt got evicted from center court and are in the corner. Very, very strange.
How about not turning the ball over every other possession 2nd half Cats?

When Richmond’s guards start making shots, our boys are going to be in trouble. I still like they’re buy-in on D. I love Sarr’s footwork. Boston is a natural slasher/scorer.
There are no great passers on this squad and they all seem to have minimal court vision. Would love to see some court spacing - even if we’re not going to shoot it - just to give guys lanes to go 1-on-1. The Iverson cuts across the top of the key into a misdirection ball screen is Cal’s “vanilla” offense. Hopefully he tweaks something going forward.

It says Kill Whitey
Edit: saw a close up. I believe it says Unity.

Our PGs have been godawful. Understandable with Askew. Disappointing with Mintz.
Make lol Cal won’t even let us take them. It’s nauseating.
It puts a lot of the ballhandling responsibilities on Boston and Clarke, which they aren't ready for yet.
It’s November. Already know this team is gonna struggle shooting 3s and at the ft line. Mostly cause the coach has probably told them it’s the worst shot in basketball to take.
no point in complaining. You know it’s coming. Just hope the one on one drives hit at a 75% clip to try to squeeze one out over an A-10 powerhouse

It seriously is like a mistake when we take a trey shot.
Either the clock is running down or someone just decides to jack one in iso...they almost never come in the flow of the offense.
It is muuuuuuuuuuuuuuch easier to make BS calls against the home team when there is no crowd there to boo mercilessly.
We’re outrebounding them by 14 and they’ve taken 14 more shots than we have.
Cal boasting about winning even though they miss 15 3’s is a pretty chilling comment. Like someone else said the talk about playing a more NBA game was the Tubby is gonna run this year swerve.
It's common knowledge the game has evolved. Common knowledge. The guy getting paid 8 million a year is the last one to notice.
I remember when Thibs was hired by the Wolves. Said he spent his time off refining his ways, seeing other teams.
then proceeded to play Jimmy Butler 42 minutes a game, led the NBA in long twos, and was pretty much the same coach he was in Chicago.
these coaches don’t change. Cal is who he is. I’d rather watch an Eddie Gran offense then whatever this is.

No Rupp crowd to bail us out. C’mon boys, let’s get a W and get out of here.
The issues in this game, to me, come down to this. A floor general is necessary with this group, but there is so much to work with our PG should easily have a quiet 8/8/4 line every game almost.
Instead they are glaringly off and we are surprisingly not looking like a unit.
Good grief. Getting worked
Maybe Allen can come in and knock down a couple 3’s. Glad we have him for that.
