I thought Fletcher was under rated coming in by the recruit gurus.

Naw he’s where he should have been. He’s a Dom Hawkins type who knows his role is undersized four who his versatile, hustles, get garbage buckets and hit open shoots. As long as he isn’t trying to create much and knows his role he is going to do just fine this year in games he gets a good amount of playing time

I remind myself this is Morehead, but let’s not forget last years team lost in Rupp to a team that went 0-18 in their conference.

I also tell myself that this is the first time this group of guys is playing in a game with one another, seven of them being freshmen in their first ever college basketball game. And 4 of 5 starters are freshmen, as well.

askew/mintz combine for 22 pts 7 assists and 6 turnovers. not bad for a first game. mintz managed the only 1 steal.

Not to mention.. the usual foul trouble nonsense..

Michigan had like 5 fouls one half.. central conn has 4 fouls to Uconns 1..

Kentucky won well enough, despite no Keion, Sarr in foul trouble, every player being brand new, no exhibition games (more important for a young team like UK) and zero help from the officials, as per usual.

Impressed to say the least.

When Brooks gets back he, Sarr, Jackson and Fletcher may see the majority frontcourt minutes if Fletcher continues to play this good.

This wide camera shot that ESPN is going with makes it tough for me to make out the players.
I'm so glad college BB is back but what's up with the camera's placement? Like looking down from the cheap seats. The other games I watched had normal zoom where you could actually see who was who on a 60" TV.

he was and is a SF
he is not an undersized 4 (where did you read that?)
i do not think at any point he played PF last night and it will be a rare thing for him to play the PF spot all season
