Going to a pot-luck Thanksgiving with a few other growers.

Broccoli Casserole with a couple bottles of Old Grand-Dad should be a good offering.

I had to defend my take, I was expecting more of a take about my Old Grandad selection.

It’s tournament semifinal day of Feast Week and ESPN and ESPN2 are showing MLS and Disc Golf.

Rumor is they’re not gonna have the annual Thanksgiving Eve party at the Drawbridge tomorrow night because of COVID.

Also because there’s no Drawbridge.

Halfway through Hillbilly Elegy...I mean, it’s pretty depressing.

Shew, I prefer my Amy Adams getting waxed by Ricky Bobby on a bar table over heroin junkie Amy.

The best unsolicited advice I could give you younger parents is spend as much family time with your children. If they want to play Pokémon, Nintendo Switch, play dolls or whatever the hell they want. Just do it. You’ll be tired and feel like doing something else. When those times have passed you will miss them.

It’s easier said than done but just trust me.

Kicked my daughters *** on Mario Kart on the switch tonight. Had been like 0 for my last 14 against her. Not sure if this is what you were going for but it felt great to get a win.

Happy Jon Rothstein Day to everyone. Stay hungry, stay humble and stay up late to catch the UCLA debut of Johnny Juzang.

I started reading this thread because I am a UK college basketball. Its faded over the years because life etc but is still consumes me at me times which is a hell of a reprieve from the other things that typically do.

I'm going to enjoy some brown water and round ball tonight. Hopefully no Brandon Boston Butt references for at least a couple weeks.

- I mean, top 5 weekend here, arguably Top 2. Diminished yeah but I’m really going to try to count my blessings and realize the good stuff.

- Despite the fact we’re losers who never win, I too am pumped for Kentucky basketball. LFG. Can’t wait to see Clarke and Boston ball. Guarantee BBdK is anxious AF and starts getting oiled by 2pm.

- Amy Adams isn’t a bad looking gal but she peaked in The Office. Good actress though.

- It’s nauseating how EVERY sportswriter has to grandstand and throw a fit when a mid major is *gasp* disrespected or overlooked. Sorry you geeks but BYU wouldn’t be Top 10 in the SEC, let alone America. Get pumped.

- Anyway, all my outrage is being focused on The Weeknd’s Grammys snub.

- If I were a 90s era R&B singer, I would write a song called “Compound Love” which uses the compound interest accrued in investments as a metaphor for the love I have for my boo. And my video for “Compound Love” would feature a storyline prelude in which said boo leaves me in a downpour as I react by dropping to my knees looking up to the heavens, fists clenched.

- They make ****** music but I always enjoy some dreary Counting Crows this time of year.

I have about as much interest in work now as the Cayts had in playing that second half at Bama.

I'll believe there is a game when the ball is tipped, even then, I half expect ANDY to run down onto the floor in a Scratch costume, remove his head and cancel the game about 4 minutes in because some blue hair snuck in a water bottle.
