The county clerk in Lexington sucks.

In Woodford County, you're in and out of the County's Clerk's Office in 3 minutes for anything. Drivers License, Title Transfer, Absentee Vote, doesn't matter, 3 minutes.

Never forget my last year of living in Lexington, was off for the last couple weeks of the year, and my wife asked me to get her tags renewed because "you have nothing going on." I stood in line for over 3 hours in downtown Lexington at the County Clerk's office with some of the worst people in town, vowing Id never be back. Thankfully for 10 years, I've never had to go back. F that place to hell. I wonder if that guy who is an Elvis impersonator still works there?

Unexpected treat from Jason Isbell (with Barry F. Gibb) tonight...

Good call on Isbell

I played a lot of music with some guys from middle Georgia and they introduced me to drive by truckers - covered some of their stuff

I need to give him a listen again - based on what bits I’ve heard - he actually plays well written music with some integrity

You just changed some small portion of how my day will go , JD

~Buffalo Trace barrel tour yesterday....fascinating information, and scored a couple of nice bottles from the gift shop. Highly recommend.

~Golf in shorts in November. The next 4 days are incredible.

~Andy was on the verge of tears in his presser yesterday. No doubt he cares, but he simply doesn't get it that this is here to stay for while, masks be damned. They simply aren't working.

~The isolated case here and there that is leading to cancellations of events needs to cease. The fear mongering is destroying our lives and cities. NYC will be at least 3 yrs before it is back to the place I know. It is in big trouble.

~Leaves, leaves, leaves.

~Stay safe and hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Amazon allows me to reorder shampoo hands free while driving across town. Best believe that **** will arrive <24 hours later.

Post office allows me to act a fool almost getting arrested while causing a scene in every visit.

Clerks office allows me to be told I don't have what I need at least 3x's before accomplishing the reason for a visit.

Serious question here folks that I hope not to lose friends over.

Do you prefer to load or unload the dishwasher? No, Boat, the dishwasher cannot be a significant other.

I'm a loader, myself. I tend to see the mistakes made by the loader if I didn't do it myself and it bothers me for some odd reason.

Also, loading can be done over multiple days. Throw a few plates in here... a few cups in there... unloading is more immediate.

Both. I'm pretty OCD about how it should be loaded (and I insist on a quick rinse first). I'm only slightly less OCD about everything ending up in the right place.

Have to load it because my children and wife think it is also a garbage disposal, despite having an actual garbage disposal.

I never mind unloading as I only use it for plates, bowls, cups/glasses and silverware.

All pots and pans and other miscellaneous stuff is hand washed.

-person who didn't cook does the dishes. Kids do it occasionally.

-took down 1 huge blue spruce in the back yard one more to go. Beautiful but only live 50ish years in these parts. Appt at landscapers paradise* tomorrow to look for "older" replacement trees. Need immediate shade.

-ordered a new backdoor/window assembly from pella...36" wide w/17"ish casement windows on each side.

-need a concrete guy rec...sidwalks/walkways due to be replaced in the spring.

^homeownership is awesome, gang.

*i beleive this to be an overstatement.

My children were told to do the dishes the other night (unload and load) and they got into a fight because they both wanted to unload the dishwasher because they dumb as hell lol. And also possibly sociopaths. We’ll see, I guess.
