- great fall morning to rake the yard again. Started out cool, but when it warmed up I just unbuttoned my henley and kept on going.

- I'm not paying for a 4 year degree that isn't STEM. Pretty sure things will be completely different in 15 years anyway, so no point in worrying about it much now.

- been doing some simple yoga lately. Goodness I've gotten stiff in the joints. Being a fat doesn't help.

- I sneezed and farted yesterday. Getting old is strange.

- Found a roll of Italian sausage in the freezer that I had forgotten about. Might get into it this weekend.

- the booze rule on election day here is ignorant. The reefer rule every day is also ignorant.

- top 3 value meals:
Little Caesars hot-n-ready
Waffle House 2 egg combo
Taco Trailer at a gas station

Not coincidentally, the first line usually produces the second for me.

That said, yoga is a life-saver. I was facing possible surgery for herniated L5 last year. The PTs at Kort worked their black magic stretches on me, and (knock on wood) things have been good since then.

"My name is Janet I am a part time school teacher and my husband Eric teaches English to immigrants at the community college. We have an all in budget of 500k."

"I'm Brooke, I make and sell artisanal crayons, and my husband, Colton, plays trombone at Kings' Island. So, we need a musical studio for him in our new home, to go with my craft room. Our budget is 1.2 million."

-it is stupid how much banks/mortgage companies are willing to let people borrow.

-10-15 percent of income is the max im comfortable paying for housing/tax...rule of thumb is 25-35%, no clue how people pull that off.

UK adds Dejuan Wagner's stepson as a walk on.

I assume that's a good sign towards any effort to eventually land Dejuan Wagner Jr.
If you're not going to use walk-on spots for GOOD ODE KENTUCKY BOYS, then this is how you use them. Much better than giving them to the undeserving son of one of Cal's butthole Yankee pals.

80P - every single time I head south on 75 and see the Mt Vernon exit ....I think I recall you saying that you live there .....is that true or am I subconsciously building a fake dossier in you ?

telling both daughters to inventory their lives and skills and figure out if you habe a thing that you’re passionate about doing with your life - follow that it so ......do you have an entrepreneurial idea or mindset that would set you up as a small business? If so - follow that and avoid the college debt burden if u can

currently the 17 yo wants to enlist on active duty ....and she WILL enlist in the Air Force ....she would tell you that she’s also considering the Marine Corps — but ...”HELL NAW”

the 16 yo is medical minded and is self directing to forensic pathology -

I can give them both one last boost when they make their move and plug them in w/network contacts in defense as well as at CDC but it’s being made clear that THEY have to drive this crazy train - not me ;)

There used to be a deal for UK alums...where if both parents were active members and contributed to the alumni Association, they offered In-State tuition for out of state residents.

not sure if ever true... but would come in handy now.

A Minuteman III ICBM can travel at speeds of over 17,000 mph —- that’s approximately MACH 23

When it arrives at its destination- it carries a blast yield of anywhere between 250 - 450 kt

it USED to carry up tk 6-7 separate warheads per missile that were independently targetable —which we signed away around 2012 ish

Here’s a fun little nuclear weapons blast simulator in case you’d like to share later with YOUR children as well

You talking the recruiting angle or the “maybe Milt starts hanging around, thus driving Card fans apeshit” angle?

Had dinner with 12 other couples Saturday. Dinner comes, server has 5 plates on her arms, says " beef short ribs" , 5 f@cking times. Finally sets it down and gives out the other 11 dishes.
Then woman has the audacity to say she didn't gets hers. Guess what she ordered? Yep beef short ribs.
THANK GOD I wasn't the only ******* at the table, MULTIPLE people , including other woman, called her out.
How f@cking hard is it to know what you ordered and listen when the server brings out the meal. Chaps my ***.

I live in downtown Lexington. Mt Vernon is a cool place though.

How many times have you heard "You know, I didn't really get to talk to so and so" since then?

I have enough content from my wife’s friends and family for a season of Canadian House Hunters that would blow your minds.

One couple both work part time for their friend’s house painting company. They just bought a 2BR fixer upper, in a crappy suburb, for $525k (CAD).

Another couple: One is a part time pet insurance claim adjuster and the other is a union saffolder. They also live in a $525k (CAD) semi-detached house in a crappy suburb.

Last week another couple with normal jobs (audiologist and engineer), just bought a 4br for a cool $1.2 million in a nice suburb.

Also their mortgages are transferable from house to house (with a “ticking clock” to find a new house if you leave your old one) and are all ARM and adjust every 5 years. And they’re fighting off Chinese real estate investors at every turn. It’s like a game show.

(CAD is only $0.75 to the USD, but it still never makes sense up there, IMO)

UK is now right around $32k annually in state. And UK is notorious for generally not giving away much in scholarship money to in state students.

BUT , hey, at least they all get tempur pedic beds, have a Starbucks on every corner and can’t walk 5 feet without charging stations. Someone has to pay for it.
Brady got a letter from the Louisville admission office yesterday. Cold day in hell before one of my boys goes to that **** hole.

Big groups are fine, but a round table is necessary. Hate peacocking around someone to have a convo. It’s doubly difficult when you don’t have a neck.

Voted today. Easy. I feel the only vote that may matter is the JCPS tax question. Pretty much a guarantee on the others.

I did go inside the wrong hotel and got to meet Palazzo for a minute. She has to know she’s getting destroyed, right?

Work can eat all the human dog **** available. Worn the F out.
