He's one of those guys who is better than the votes he'll garner. Always tough to balance building the actual best team you can vs. taking guys the casual fan knows or thinks are good players.

It’s crazy how under the radar that guy is. I guess it’s a combination of having a common name and playing for the Hawks. Not entirely sure, but it’s very odd.

I think you're right, plus the general lack of interest in big men. You have to be a star to really be well known, but no one sees the Hawks play.

Now, his numbers are inflated because he plays for the Hawks. But he's a good young player. Fits nicely alongside LeBron and Steph too.
