* Lebron's respect speech...K. Who doesn't respect the Lakers franchise and Lebron, even if they don't love him...? But okay, cool to win it for Kobe. And Rajon Rondo being the second guy ever to win one with the Celts and the Lakers...along with the guy who was the first to win a college title, Olympic gold medal, and an NBA title, like AD just did...pretty cool.

* still salty the Olympics were a total casualty of 2020.

* For everyone who has been overdosing on EVH this week, this "what if EVH played on Stairway" video is fun. (The rest of that guy's "What Makes This Song Great" series is excellent, too.)

* I can't recommend against peeling off most of a fingernail/fingertip with a potato peeler strongly enough. F you, potatoes.

Happy indigenous peoples day shorts:

Ruby's Friday, game Saturday, Italian beef smasiches and the couch Sunday. #wodie

I love steaks, UK football, and the Oxford comma.

Perfect dreary fall morning to recover from a fun weekend.

Got yelled at in the CWS parking lot to put my mask on by the parking nanny. Wasn't within 40 ft of anyone except my biz partner. What-TF-ever /rolleyes

Congrats to Davis and Rondo

Akeem Hayes needs to get some snaps from Daily and/or Harris until they learn how to catch a football. Rodriguez needs to get a lot of Rose's snaps too.

Hopefully we'll the young guys get a lot of snaps over the next few weeks. Hayes, Tisdale(s), McClain, Gatewood. No reason to hide them or go down with the old guard.

Ole Miss is on track to set the all time most yardage allowed per game in a season. The record is 617 a game and they’re currently sitting at 647.

Even Hal Mumme would laugh at that defensive ineptitude.

The masks don’t do a damn thing, and the sooner we realize that, the sooner we get back to normalcy. The mask is merely a crutch at this point. South Park was spot on in calling them “chin diapers”.

Went to Shake Shack Saturday night. Hundreds of people outside either eating, ordering, or waiting. The eaters weren’t wearing masks. The mask wearers were standing pretty much side by side. Dozens of workers were working in close proximity. Fat dude wearing a gaiter around his neck was screaming the orders for pickup as loud as he could. I’m sorry, but that environment isn’t safe per Covid protocols.

With that said, I got my burger, ate and enjoyed my burger, and lived to tell about it. Cross my fingers as I enter this crucial next few days. Good burger though.

~Another stellar finish to a PGA tour event, and the MLB playoffs are now in crunch time.

~If you have to wear chain link fence gloves to handle a knife.....you better stick to cereal.

~DeSantis and his full stadium pitch is awesome. If you are worried, sick, etc....stay home. Otherwise...get a ticket.

~Interesting to see the "in crowd" posting their instagram shots from Keeneland and without a mask.

~Trump parade around New Circle yesterday would have been enough to send Pti off the rails.

was one of your 11 degrees a medical one?

it’s amazing how sad and stressed some people get over a piece of cloth over their faces

I’ve got to get on a call with the “managing editor” of a medical journal that’s probably only read by maybe 25 people and listen to his self important *** pontificate. Joy unto me.

hey mark, how much did you turn that $500 that you invested into?

Enough to buy a double wide and move to Destin full time?

I wore my ****ing mask. I’ve been wearing a ****ing mask every day for 7 months. Everyone here has.

And they don’t do a damn thing. Cases are still rising. Kids aren’t in school. Restaurants are closing left and right. Bars? Lol. Good luck.

But wear that mask!!!!!! Save lives!!!!

something like 40% of cases up here are being transmitted in bars and restaurants, where people are sans mask eating and drinking indoors

the other 60% are mostly close contacts within social groups.

our local university has like 90 cases and they’ve all been traced back to one house party.

it’s not the masks....

Poutine and probably a quicker path to returning to the British monarchy than we have... maybe Canada isn’t so bad after all?

*We have more celebrities now than at any point in human history, so get used to at least one of them dying every few days. Just a matter of numbers.

*I don't think South Park was saying masks don't work, they were saying when you wear them like a chin diaper and don't cover your mouth or nose with them, at that point they are completely useless.

Here’s the thing -

Canadian Covid cases - 182,000

US Covid cases - 7.997 million

the issue isn’t the masks. It’s the people who think they know everything and can’t follow instructions.

Like the CDC director said - “if everyone just wore a mask, this thing would be over in 8 weeks”

but, when philandering jort wearing UNC fans want to pack Florida stadiums, onward we go.

EVERYONE in the Bay Area is wearing a ******* mask, and the cases are still going up. No schools, no inside restaurants, no bars, no sports. Cases going up up up up.

GO MASKS!!!!!

Is your assumption that cases would go up at the exact same levels if no one was wearing a mask versus everyone wearing a mask?
