We’ll get him after Cal leaves.

Rivers was seen touring a horse farm in Versailles. Understand he made an offer. His plane was seen on the runway at Bluegrass Airport. We’ll get him after Cal leaves.

I'm betting he ends up in OKC. Remember all those young guys they traded for PG ended up in OKC. I bet you could see some of those other Clippers end up in OKC as a sort of reunion. They could get their team back together.Rockets better make a run at him. That's the next best job (or a tie with Philly) and his son is there. On Houston's side of things, Doc uis a championship caliber coach, and he'd draw a lot of talent there. I don't think Houston is a sexy destination for FAs, what with Harden's last few years of teammate turmoil... but Doc would change that.

Lacking in good long-term assets. Westbrook's contract is an abyss as he's declining. Not much in value draft picks. Not much cap space. And it looks like they're getting older and they've peaked. It seems like that's a job where you're getting fired in 2-3 years once things don't go right.Yeah, that's very possible. Houston has a brighter 2-3 years.. but OKC has the brighter future beyond that.
I figure this is a joke, and the entire thing is a dead horse. Two years ago, I would've said no chance, what with the new contract and all. But with the way NCAA seems to be slowly rolling down hill, I'm actually starting to think it's more of a possibility now than many here want to believe.Twitter buzz saying Calipari is a finalist for the job
Firing Doc to hire a white guy I’m sure. Sickening
Right. Lol, there’s no way to coach basketball and speak out against racism.Doc has been very vocal nearly every day regarding social injustice, racism, etc. I think he took his eye off the prize. You can do the other stuff in the off-season.

OKC on the other hand is loaded with draft picks. A young star in SGA. Plenty of cap space. Good trade bait like Shroeder and Adams. And a nice rotation of talent. Not to mention CP3 can either be there or be flipped for more assets.

Coaches get too much credit for wins and too much blame for losses. Now, there are times when they deserve both, but can you really lay the Clippers' loss in the Denver series on coaching? I watched most of those games and coaching wasn't the problem. The problem was player performance. They had multiple chances to win that series and their stars laid eggs. I've heard folks talk about chemistry issues, but it comes down to the fact that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George played like hot garbage in multiple games, and especially game 7. Leonard went 6-24 in game 7 and George went 4-16. They had good looks often but just played like crap, and none of them could slow down Murray, who finished with 40. I don't see how you blame Doc Rivers for all that.

Not Doc’s fault that, for example, Paul George played like a one-star talent that never developed for most of the series.Doc has been very vocal nearly every day regarding social injustice, racism, etc. I think he took his eye off the prize. You can do the other stuff in the off-season.
Yikes, I hope the Clippers thought about that before they made this move.Firing Doc to hire a white guy I’m sure. Sickening
There's too many solid defenders on that team for D'Antoni.Surprising they moved now as other coaches are getting hired....
D'Antoni is an option, Ty Lue, Jason Kidd...but I'd make a call to Kenny Atkinson with the way he installed a great culture in a bad spot in Brooklyn.
Sure, but I believe he is now the only coach in NBA history to be up 3-1 and lose 3 times. I also assume he had something to do with the makeup of the team, which now loos to be more expensive and less effective than promised. Any single win or loss? Fine. A history of under-performance across multiple teams with different sets of players? Either crazy coincidence or you blame him. There is no other connection.
I would agree with this. This season you could probably write to players underperforming. But when you add that to the other blown 3-1 lead and never being able to get past the second round with different types of teams, you have to look at the coach.
But who could they possibly get? You need a strong leader with a team that doesn’t get leadership from its star players.
So the staunch wealthy supporters of BLM (founded on Marxism) Doc, Lebron et al., are going to give all their possessions to the "greater good" and we are all equal...or do they want to be the very, very, tipety top on the pyramid and rule everyone else?Doc Rivers is an asshat, uneducated, elitist dipshit that spreads nonsense, he doesn’t fight racism.
This country, and its white people, have helped make Black Americans such as Doc Rivers one of the wealthiest groups in the world. Love him back? Nonsense.
Blacks are not being hunted, they are not being shot for no reason, as he claims they are. Again, the data doesn’t back it up.
Lebron ran with the same nonsense and then two cops ambushed in LA. That’s how you “hunt” someone.
The data is clear, the disparities between white and black incarceration and shootings is not unequal when you adjust for crime.
Many Black communities are crime riddled areas because of poverty - thanks in large part to who’s been running these areas for 60 years. Hint, its not the party Doc keeps referring to.
These are lies that have been promoted for afew reasons.
1. Communist China and the NBA. Supporting Marxist makes Doc and the rest feel China will allow them back into their good graces. Supporting the party that loves China makes them feel it’s a good business decision. They don’t think anyone will notice because they’re using racism as a means to aid in this attempt.
2. Civil Rights era Blacks are dying from old age and this is a means to keep Blacks voting for the D plantation // I mean party. The D’s cannot survive without the Black vote and so they needed to create myths I order to maintain their lock grip on many black Americans because frankly, Blacks are traditional, not secular, and D’s know without the idea that everyone is still racist, they might lose the younger generations who don’t ignorantly vote for democrats simply becuase of JFK. Which is funny because JFK wouldn’t even vote for a democrat today. He a more madisonian than any of them currently.
You guys think you’re slick but you’re not even close. This will backfire. Eventually the dog will eat it’s tail. Wait for it.
I’m calling BS on this! Everyone (my age) would have turned their head to that name. I remember going to see Rambo 2 at Lexington mall and he came in to the theater w a big tub of popcorn and a little hottie and we all turned and looked, lolCal will have for sale signs in his yard on 3, 2, 1.
Rivers spotted dining at Tolly-Ho late last night... he had a burger with a sunny side up egg on top and some crinkly fries, my sources tell me. He used a fake name (Randall Savage) for when they called his order and went pretty much undetected. Upon finishing, he stepped into a Slim Jim and sped away.
They played good defense in Houston once Chris Paul arrived. There's too many solid defenders on that team for D'Antoni.
