Tayshaun is one of my favorite cats of all time but I’m gonna go with the Bam block. They both had the same implications (preserve win in a playoff game). Bam’s block is something you just don’t see. Tatum came in with all his force on the dunk and Bam just overpowered him at the rim.
I liked Tay from the ground he had to make up,and accuracy it took, don't get me wrong I loved Bams also, and I hate the Celtics

Bam's tops both of the others combined. He didn't bat the ball away like AD, and Prince. He had a guy throwing down a dunk with every bit of power he could and he not only stopped the hammer motion, he moved the ball and the player back in the other direction. Nothing but pure horse power by a real man.

Bam's block is better than Tay.

Davis's block was more impactful as it prevented a loss, while both Tayshaun and Bam prevented a tie opportunity.

Consequence, Bam's block was near buzzer beater block, you really couldn't do much after that block.

Bam > Tay / Davis when you factor everything...

I'm going with Davis. Dude was guarding Zeller and then had to use his Go-Go Gadget powers to jump over to Henson and then blocked that shot, but not swat it into the stands. And then had the presence of mind to jump again to get the loose ball. It stunned UNC so much they essentially quit right there. All of this as a freshman against the preseason #1 team and was like 5 games into his college career. Incredible.

I’m going with tayshaun here. Best block I’ve ever seen. And it was as close to a goal tend as you could get without actually being a goal tend. Had to freeze frame and zoom in to actually be able see light between the ball and the back board. Plus he ended up 5 rows deep. Just completely gave up his body. The pistons were already down a game as well and clinging to a 2 point lead in game 2. They also went on to win the championship.

it’s the best block AND the best hustle play of all time.

if the heat go on to win it we’ll revisit. Princes block seemed impossible though so even IF the heat win it I’d still have tayshauns #1.

Also I’d like to point out this is why the nba is so much better than college.

If this happens in college, bam gets called for a foul(even though it’s one of the cleanest blocks you’ll ever see), because Tatum plays for duke, and coach K has been in the officials ears all night lobbying for calls, and Has also achieved deity status in the sports Media so he gets everything he wants. And boom, all of a sudden another great game is ruined because of ncaa bull ****.

What are you talking about? Foul plus goal tend make sure Duke wins

you nailed it, this is the biggest reason I don’t watch college basketball games, outside of UK, anymore

Not only was Tatum about to drop the hammer, but with his strong hand. Bam blocked it with his off hand.

Bam's was in OT of a Game 7. That puts it out in front, IMO.
Yeah no doubt but it was Game 1. The Tay block was awesome but it was in the 3rd quarter. AD's block was game clinching but I doubt if Henson makes the shot any way just on the contest by AD and it's a December game in college. Tatum is coming full steam jumping off 1 foot for the poster dunk and Bam gets about 2 steps, meets him and puts him on a poster. Greatest block ever IMO.

It’s goaltending if it were a shot that tells you the level of the bam block. It wouldn’t be just goaltending the ball was moving down with force into the cylinder. Not only this but it was as clean a block you will ever see. Friggin Tatum with all his weight and bam with an arm. A hand.

I'll go with Bam. Your wrist isn't meant to bend that way. Not to mention, it was the final play of a game 7.

Tayshaun's was the best to me.

I don't know if some of you even watched the clips. Tayshaun blocked it and kept it inbounds to his teammate which made it that much more impressive after coming from way behind. He also did it at a critical point in a game where if he didn't block it they could potentially have been down 2 games to start the series. Who knows if they still would have won the title if he misses that block?

Bam's was very nice but it was a straight up face to face block and that's what he is supposed to do. Block or alter the shot. Had he came from out of nowhere and made the block, I might give it more significance. Bam is a beast and making a beastly block is par for the course. It was still a great block I just think Prince's block was better.

Davis was very good as well and possibly saved the game for us. It was a great game with an awesome environment. What hurts his is that it occurred in a regular season game without any future implications. We lose that game we still end up a 1 seed and win the championship. It was still great for what it was and I loved it because I love college basketball and I don't really care for the pros anymore.

All hustle. Excellent play. Like many have said, I would take Bam's block though, but both incredible. Davis block most important for us as he is in a UK jersey.

Take away from the Tayshaun clip.... 69-67 at the end of the 4th quarter. Woof.

Whoa, whoa.,..just whoa.
how are there multiple threads about Bam’s block?Nuggets? AD, Heat, etc?
I thought the overwhelmingly, vast majority had given up on the NBA (especially this season), and you were semi-Marxist just by watching.
