First of all, that genie’s been out of the bottle for four years. You all made that decision- NOT me.

Second of all, if you find it politically offensive to mock conspiracy theorists, then that’s on you.
I have no problem mocking policy simpletons. Ironically, that is why I'm trolling you here.

Q anon believers deserve ridicule just like Hillary sympathizers.

Speaking of funny movies- “Good Boys” was actually really funny.

Also watched “Richard Jewel” this weekend which was decent.

Woo buddy... my pots are still blooming massive flowers in late summer heat.

Highly recommend.

Just amazed at how willfully ignorant Chad is regarding the Clintons. All you have to do is look at their foundation and how little money it spent on doing good vs salaries/expenses and compare to other foundations.
or how many people around them have been busted for child porn which unlike most dumb **** spouted out by trumpers can actually be verified and proven through documents

-went to visit prima yesterday. She's adjusting well...college in the time of the covid is odd, but she's figuring it out.

-got some appreciated food recs from my nky peeps(thanks chad and willy!)...and used none of them (this time). Went to greyhound tavern. Solid. Daughter loved it as shes apparently been missing ramseys...goetta egg rolls, fried green tomatoes, chicken livers, cod sandwich and Reuben were all well received. Comfort food is comforting, gang.

-tennis game is starting to show signs of life. Stroke coming back...mobility has yet to make an appearance. Fitness level is embarrassing. I know im almost 50...but the lost athleticism is tough to grapple with.

You’re not trolling. You really believe drawing that parallel makes sense. Don’t hide behind “trolling.” F you.

And as usual, it’s you MFers are the ones still bringing her up. Not me.

I was just amazed to wake up to a co-worker sharing QAnon stuff on Facebook this morning. Figured many here would find it as ridiculous as I do.

Name one time I've said anything to support q anon.

What is amazing is how you don't realize you are the political ying to Chief's yang. I guess as they say, ignorance is bliss.

I can admit I think Trump isn't a good person. But I like his policies.

Not sure our lefties in here can do the same for their leaders.

We had a bit of an uptick in cases in the first week- which was expected, but still alarming. Lot of people testing positive claim they are wearing masks and following guidelines, and then they mention things like sharing a can of pringles in the fraternity house with a group of guys or eating someone's leftovers out of a dorm room fridge, etc. There are definitely a contingent who likely got it from a bar or house party- but it seems more common that its just spreading through "normal encounters"

With the football financial boost in the balance- theyve shut down all bars and just about everything non academic on campus right now. If I was a betting man, i'd lay money on the UNDER for CFB. Sadly, I just dont think WE'RE COMING TO YOUR CITAAYY this fall.

anyone watch the Yellowstone finale last night? I wont post spoilers but I mean... dang.

No, i missed the last 2 episodes before last night, so I am going to knock all three out tonight using the on demand machine. Pretty damn good show, episodes 6 and 7 slowed down, but thinking 8,9, and 10 will ramp it up a notch or two.

Stopped by Chucks Wine and Spirits Friday night and picked up a bottle of New Riff single barrel. It was a store pick and came in at 106.5 proof. Price tag of $59.99. Was pretty good, what are the bourbon balls thoughts on it ?

Played 27 yesterday, feel like I play 57. Old.

Montrizall talking **** about Luka, then he goes out and ***** right on the Clippers face. Loved it. talk about a dagger, step back 26 footer for the W.

Is there an alternative to the “fire” drops they use to dilate your eyes? I have to go get my eyes checked because of my high risk treatments and last time I had no idea they were doing that to me. I immediately dropped about 100 fbombs and came completely out of the chair blinded.
This time I’m getting a ride to and from since I couldn’t see **** driving home. Eff getting old!

It’s going to take an extremely well connected, visible, highly regarded, socially important group to just plow ahead while flipping the double bird to authorities in order to turn the corner on these shutdowns.

I’d prefer that be locally owned small businesses, but if sports is the vehicle — then so be it.
?

It has been small businesses. Lots of large businesses as well. All going on per usual with a few new procedures. Of course we can't acknowledge this because only fear works.

Not where I live. Music venues are still completely banned. As are to go drinks and bars. Basically, the heart and soul of the tourist economy.

Everything else is operating maybe at half capacity. At best.

thoughts on the Airbnb ipo?

Will more people abandon hotels, featuring mass amounts of people, to take advantage of living in private quarters, your own pool, and not be subject to virus? Probably. Short-term anyway, until Amazon decides to get into buying luxury vacation homes and sets up a quasi AB&B. My two cents.

If we're talking beans, here's a dish I made up a couple years ago that I swear by for breakfast.

Wayne's Bean Surprise:
  • 1 Can GOYA Cannellini Beans (Not political; Bush's Cannellini beans are trash).
  • Diced Red or White Onion
  • 1/2 Diced Tomato
  • 1/2 Diced Red/Yellow/Orange Pepper
  • 1/2 Diced Jalapeno
  • 4 Minced Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 to 2 TSB of Olive Oil
  • 5 leaves of Chopped Basil
  • 2 Poached (or Over Easy) Eggs (1 or 2 per bowl)
  • Aged Balsamic Vinegar to Taste
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  1. Boil the can of beans for about 5 minutes
  2. Heat the oil over med-high heat
  3. Add onions and cook for 90 seconds until soft
  4. Add garlic, cook another 60 seconds
  5. Add Tomato, Pepper and Jalapeno. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add beans. Cook another 2 min or so.
  7. Put into bowls
  8. Add the poached egg
  9. Add the chopped basil
  10. Add the Balsamic

I still can't get over the fact the toggle width button only adjusts the size of the post area by milometer at best.

I don't pay too much attention to AirBnB's financials, but do they have any advantage over VRBO/HomeAway? It seems from a monopoly profits perspective, they are limited due to the competition.

-those are beautiful. If vinny vines made those in Vietnam/China and sold them at the mall...you'd own a pair in every available color.

-school is fine. Newtown pike is too far away...i like staying in my neighborhood. Also, cha is a friend...rather give her the money.
