Chris Benoit's son David, who has a STRONG resemblance to Chris, is a wrestler and wants to go by Chris Benoit Jr.

Don't think that's going to work out very well for him.

Anyone ever seen this before?

A little disappointed to learn that the origin of my avatar was not original and a copy/paste product for multiple schools though.

I’m having some luck with the return of NBA Gambol. Celts -9 was a lock last night against the Nets.

Golf balls...

Patrick Cantlay is -170 that he finishes ahead of Tiger. Cantlay playing that well? Also what about best 1st round score out of this pairing today?

Jason Day -120
Martin Kaymer +250
Jason Dufner +275

Day seems like a lock with those odds.

Cantlay is a stud, one of the betting favorite, and Tiger has played like 4 competitive rounds in the last 6 months. Not a bad bet but I'm not in for cheering against my dude.

* Remember when Hunter Cantwell somehow made it to the top of Mel Kiper, Jr's Big Board?

Weird times.

* On one hand, "cancel culture" is a very real thing, and destroys people's lives. On the other hand, Ray Lewis and Michael Irvin are still gainfully employed covering professional football. Absolutely bizarre.

* Podcast recommendation: Bardstown.

Crystal Roger's ex-boyfriend (Brooks Hauck) is so incredibly guilty, and his brother (Nick) was fired from the local police force after a series of bad reviews, culminating with him purposely interfering with his brother's investigation.

They'll be in jail soon.

* Does anyone actually walk around in fear on a daily basis of the pandemic?

I'm not gonna hit up any 1,000 guest list invite Nashville debaucherous house parties or anything, but I sure as hell don't. From a fear standpoint, it's pretty normal for this dude.

* The Reds are 5-7, which somehow means we're 20% finished with the season. Looking good, team!

* Wondering if Cantlay can outperform Tiger, then potentially putting money on Jason Dufner.....doesn't look like a good sport for richie to be putting big $$$ on.

You’re a little late on this one Broski.

Heard based on a tip they found human remains last week that the FBI is processing, supposedly it’s hers...tbd.

-The "Bardstown" podcast is really well done, although I think the host tries a bit too hard to sound all hushed like the host of "Serial". Still, well worth the time. I'm getting ready to start a podcast series about that massacre up in Ohio, where eight members of the same family were all murdered. Insane story.

I guess when I'm done with that one, I'll listen to a podcast about our Final Four loss to Wisconsin. Marcus.

-I'm now "fire off a strongly-worded email to the chairman of the local school board" years old.

-I had completely forgotten about the national D/R conventions. Usually tune those things out because they're just days of useless pablum, but I'm intrigued by Trump and Biden each trying to generate ANY kind of voter enthusiasm by giving canned speeches from their respective basements (although it sounds like Trump may give his from the Oval Office, with a bald eagle perched on his left shoulder and Toby Keith standing behind his right).

-Pretty remarkable how the state of Kentucky has produced more big-time OL prospects than big-time basketball prospects over the past 6-7 years or so. #FootballState

I never mentioned betting on Dufner. I said JASON DAY.

I’m staying away from the Tiger vs Cantlay bet.

Went with Day -120 vs Dufner and Kaymer in the 1st rd pairing.

Public ***-munching was sure to follow when we lost the Grizzly River Rampage.

And the Wabash Cannonball. Lord I wonder, Who's gonna fill their shoes ? Definitely been a murder committed down on Music Row and I blame it all on this young country junk. Bedazzled Jeans, Western fake flannels with the sleeves cut off, and chain wallets ALL contributed to Nashville becoming the Southern Pop capital of the world. It is not even Southern rock, trash, all of it.

It's never truly safe to bet against Tiger; however, Harding Park isn't really a place that I look for him to do well. 7200-yard par 70. Rough thick as ****. Ball not traveling very far due to cooler temps. That's not a good set up for the Goat. His creeky, stiff body needs wider fairways, manageable rough, and warmer temps.

And with that said, I still don't think I'd take Cantlay over Tiger, because if Tiger hears about it, he'll shoot whatever number it takes to beat him. Plus I don't trust Cantlay.

At the end of the day, if you bet against Tiger you're playing with fire.

I don’t think it’s a shock that the state has produced much better football players than basketball over the course of the last 25 years.

* KHSAA allowing spring practice in the late 90’s helped.

* The rise of popularity of UK and UL football in state over the last 22 years or so with every game now on television.

* We live in predominantly white state. 6’4” corn fed behemoth honks have a much better chance succeeding in football than basketball.

* Even in inner city Louisville the best athletes are getting much higher profile D1 scholarships in football than in basketball. Myron Pryror, Corey Peters, Alphonso Smith, Keenan Burton, Gary Williams, Michael Bush, and Devante Parker are all dudes just off the top of my head that played in the NFL. There’s more that I’m forgetting. I didn’t mention all of the kids that went on to play Power 5 football that didn’t make the NFL.

Other than Rondo and D’Angelo Russell the city hasn’t produced any other NBA players.

I like the Cantlay prop finishing ahead of Tiger. He has had like 7 straight top 10's or something like that. If I am being honest, with the wind and cooler temps, and even if those where not factors, It would not surprise me Tiger will NOT be around for the weekend. He is just not striking the ball that well and He is not playing enough.

Cantlay 26-1 has a lot of value.

Day - Top Aussie +135 - His biggest threat is Adam Scott who hasn't played in months.

Finau top 10 finish +188 - Almost 2-1 money for a guy who may not be able to close the deal, finishes up front ALOT.

Speith - 50-1 - he has the talent and has shown some signs. Low risk, high reward, $10 to win $500, yes please.

Mickelson - 80-1 - played pretty well for 3 rounds last week, same as Speith, huge reward.

JT / Koepka 10-1 - If either of those two win, I am ahead no matter what happens with the other bets.

Fitzpatrick 45-1 - has been playing some really solid golf, could be there.

-Please post. TIA.

Dear School Board Chairman,

Hi, my name is King Llama, I am 45 years old and I live in Versailles, Kentucky. I would like to congratulate you on the tremendous comeback you have brought to the incompetence of the Woodford County school board.

I would be obliged if you could tell me why you promised a month ago to go along with the school district's "hybrid" return-to-school plan and now you are changing your mind and going to online-only? I think you should reaffirm your decision to approve the school district's "hybrid" plan.

I am desperately interested in this year's school re-entry plan, so if possible could you provide me with an explanation or information. I would be greatful.

Thank you for your time and effort. Get pumped and DIAF!

YOUR TRUE FAN,
King Llama

You should never ever drive away or walk away from takeout or a drive-thru without checking your order. You get burned time and time again.

The section of the drive from downtown Versailles to 64 is gorgeous. Much like the drive from Calumet past the airport and Keeneland. However, the stretch from 64 out Paris Pike to Houston Oaks may be the best of them all. Care to nominate any other sections of drives in the state?
Midway Rd and Old Frankfort are both spectacular. I lived in Woodford County for 30 years. I’ve also lived in six other states. Nothing, anywhere, compares to Woodford.

Yeah, I've been meaning to ask how that's been affecting you all. Saw you out talking to a neighbor when I drove by a week or two ago. It's a mess, to be sure.

"To whom it may concern" is usually the go to attention getter.

Forgot to add Schauffele 26-1 to win PGA Championship.

I'm having a ball coaching T Ball. It's hilarious and fun af watching the little dudes learn the game.
Hit me up on Facebook. I coached two years of T-Ball with my son in Versailles. It was around 94 or 95. Instructional only. Yeah right. We didn’t keep score. Yeah right. Honestly, one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done.
